Lenora Robinson | 173 comments 189 His Inconvenient Choice: A Pride and Prejudice Novella

A cute little story. Book 3 in a series of 4. The one bad thing is it will not make much sense if you have not read the first 2'

Lenora Robinson | 173 comments 191 Darcy’s Last Chance: A Pride and Prejudice Variation

A very good story. Comes in a different direction but still close to cannon.

192 Second Impressions

message 2423: by J. W. (new)

J. W. Garrett (jeannewallacegarrett) | 623 comments You can do it. Look through your TBR pile and pick out the novellas and get them out of the way. Then you can start the new year with the mega books.

Lenora, I was looking at Darcy’s Last Chance: A Pride and Prejudice Variation, but is it really worth $3.99 for only a 95-page novella?? That gave me pause. I've read Second Impressions, and I know that's a good one. Great job. Keep 'em coming, girl!

message 2427: by Barb (new)

Barb (barblibrarian1) I was struggling to hit 101 books to reach Mr. Bennet, but just now added my 125th book! How the heck did that happen! Just all the encouragement of you ladies. I am waiting for my copy of Jane Fairfax to arrive in the mail, as it is one book not available on Kindle, and the one I am reading for December. But, I am clearing out the books I borrowed too long ago from Kindle unlimited. Now, I am heading towards the books I purchased and forgot I owned, so still have on my TBR pile. Yay - I have time to read!

I own a Kindle copy of Darcy's Last Chance and would be happy to lend it out if you have a Kindle.

Awesome, Barb! Congrats on finishing so many!

I do have a kindle. I'll message you with my email address. Thanks!

message 2432: by J. W. (new)

J. W. Garrett (jeannewallacegarrett) | 623 comments Yeah, astonished me too. How did I do that? Don't ask that dust bunny over in the corner. I'm not speaking to him... his wife... or his multitude of children.

message 2433: by Mary (new)

Mary | 452 comments Dust bunny, you say,Jeanne? Have heard of them, but must admit to not having seen them myself!
No,I've no experience of that particular species!

message 2434: by J. W. (new)

J. W. Garrett (jeannewallacegarrett) | 623 comments Then you must be careful my dear... nefarious creatures dust bunnies. They are devilish clever and can hide in plain site. LOL!

message 2435: by Lenora (new)

message 2436: by Mary (new)

Mary | 452 comments Jeanne-hide in plain sight? Dreadful!

Come to think of it,perhaps their presence might explain the rather curious noises I hear, from time to time, but am always to consumed in my book to investigate!

As they haven't done any harm to me to date,I'll continue to ignore them,in the hope they do the same to me!

Yes, I would need x-ray vision to see them through my Kindle...

message 2441: by J. W. (new)

J. W. Garrett (jeannewallacegarrett) | 623 comments Yep and if we were lucky that x-ray vision would evaporate them. Yeah, I would like that. That would be awesome.

You're a lot closer than that, so give yourself due credit. 220 books and counting ain't no speck on the horizon!

Sheila Majczan (sheilalmajczan) | 700 comments Congratulations on a "job" well done...but no - on sharing with us all the time you make for pleasure, for stopping and smelling the roses...the joy of reading yet again a love story which fills our heads and our hearts with sighs and delightful dreams. So I clap and smile at your journey, Debbie.

I just finished last night the book you shared with me. The View From Where I Sit. What a different Mrs. Bennet! For once I can view her with some respect - what's the world coming to?

message 2450: by Debbie (new)

Debbie (dmbrown) | 849 comments I really enjoyed getting a different perspective on Mrs. B. in that one, too. So nice to see her and Darcy actually understanding each other!
