Tom Behr) (tom_behr) | 23 comments Hi Everyone:
I'm new to the Reviewers Group. I've been a passionate book reader since childhood, thanks to my parents and their well-stocked library including a rich collection of historical novels (Shellabarger, Orczy, Dumas, Sabatini, etc. - plus a wonderful, surprising, and little known Conan Doyle treasure, "The Exploits of Brigadier Girard." I'f you haven;t read it, check it out.) What joy!

I'm also an author, and my books include two historical spy novels set in North Africa during the Napoleonic Wars, "Blood Brothers," (2011) http://tombehrbooks.com/blood-brother... and "The Most Bold and Daring Act of the Age," (2017), http://www.tombehrbooks.com/the-most-.... I'm currently working on a WW II spy novel, Doppelganger.

I'd welcome reviews. In order to contribute to the group, I'm also happy to do some selected reviews of new historical fiction, focusing on the Napoleonic or WW II eras, (although most of my time goes to my own writing.)
Cheers :-)
Tom Behr

Andy Fitz | 1 comments Hello,

Although I'm not technically "new" to goodreads, I haven't been active for some time due to finishing and publishing my novel, "A Wolf Like Me" available at amazon.com/author/andyfitz

I am currently looking for reviewers (who isn't? :)) to review my paranormal thriller. If this isn't the appropriate forum or if I am breaking some form of group etiquette with this post - please accept my apologies!

I am also an avid reader (when I have time) and enjoy fantasy, SF, and horror, and thrillers of course.

I am currently between books and could use some suggestions. I am also posting here just to connect with other authors and readers and have a chit chat about books etc.

Cheers!

Andy Fitz

Veeda (will_read_anything) Hi, I'm a relatively new book blogger but I've been on Goodreads for a pretty long time. I love to read fiction (especially YA). My blog is at https://willreadanything.wordpress.com. Check it out if you want to!

The Book Sale Scrounger (weabooaristotle) | 5 comments I don't think that I ever introduced myself on here, despite being a (somewhat quiet) member, so I'm going to take a crack at it. I'm an avid consumer of YA and graphic novels, and I try to make my reviews as personal as I can. There's only so many times I can read reviews that outline every plot point in the book; rather, I like to include little anecdotes I've had in my real life surrounding the books, etc. If it doesn't sound like I'm not sitting with you at the coffee table with you, then I'm not doing what I want to be doing.

I mostly review on here, though I've considered opening a blog.

Happy to meet you!

God's Amazing Grace: A Collection of Inspirational Poems and Stories

The Author created this book in the same styling of writing as the Author's do for 'Chicken Soup For The Soul' books. All Stories are true life experiences. Names and Locations changed to protect the identities of all individuals involved. The author was somehow one of the characters of three of the enclosed stories. The fourth short story was on other hand was created using several combined stories that was shared with her; to create one heartwarming story. Each photograph taken and poem was written by the author and shared to help inspire and make a connection between the reader and stories being told. I The Author hopes you the reader will find enlightenment. Perhaps a sense of believe that anything is possible. When you are at the end of your rope..... You can survive what seems un-survivable. Or perhaps you can see the true love that is within and worth never giving up the search for. Happy Reading

Karen Braysher | 16 comments Hello
I could not put this book down. It was written with enormous feeling making Karen's experiences come alive to the reader. It was at times both sad, funny and shocking but shows how Karen, in spite of all she suffered, came through to make a very real success of her life and will help others who read it and have experienced any of her nightmares in life realise that you can overcome them and there can be a "happy ending".. A great read.
