T.W. Alexander (twalexander) | 2 comments Hi everyone! Excited to be here.

I’m T.W. Alexander, a storyteller blending sci-fi, fantasy, and emotional realism. My debut novel, Stellar IV: The Agents of Zierlux, is on the way—it follows four strangers who wake up in a floating dome 1.5 billion light-years from home with no memory… and a planet to save. It dives deep into identity, sacrifice, and cosmic consequences.

I’ve also published a bestselling children’s book on financial literacy and love connecting with fellow readers and writers. Looking forward to sharing, learning, and growing together!

Mrs. Kimberly | 2 comments Hi everyone, I'm Kimberly T. Shyu. I was previously agented and recently decided to self publish my multi-genre novels that have historically been deemed unplaceable because they're a bit of everything: speculative, sci-fi, romance, family saga, literary, thriller, and more. I'm so excited to embark on this journey and would love to connect with like-minded authors and readers!

My work is for readers who love Kazuo Ishiguro, Jennifer Egan, Sarah Pinsker, Taylor Jenkins Reid, Emily St. John Mandel, Ted Chiang, Liu Cixin, Andy Weir, and the like. I recently started a Substack community for 'Unplaceable Fiction' and invite you to join me at https://substack.com/@kimposs1ble.

My first novel is DUSK, set for release on September 5, 2025. DUSK is a high concept, speculative story of a multi-generational family struggling to justify the meaning of life with themes of identity, love, and loss. Told through two points of view in 2034 and 2086, the stories of Theo Stewart and his robotic caretaker focus on Theo’s growth and interrelationships as he discovers himself in his late twenties, then suffers regrets in his dying years. This weaves a nonlinear plot similar to THE THREE-BODY PROBLEM with the dynamic perspectives in THE CANDY HOUSE (but with tighter closure). It will appeal to upmarket readers and fans of the satirical themes in Don’t Look Up.

For my travel blog, self-improvement, and product management articles, check out my work on Medium and LogRocket, or visit www.kimshyu.com.

Mikhaelah Zeigler | 1 comments Hi y’all, I’m Mikhaelah, avid reader, child wrangler (a.k.a. “mom”), and book reviewer. I’ve been reviewing books for several months now, though I’m fairly new to Goodreads, and I’d love to connect with authors and fellow reviewers.

I started a blog, MKZLiterartiste, where I post book reviews and run my interview series Mind Behind the Magic. It’s a virtual sit-down with indie authors, diving into their writing journey — from the glee-filled moments of inspiration to the hair-pulling challenges of creating a book. If that’s something you’d like to explore, you can find me here:

https://mkzliterartiste.substack.com

I specialize in children’s books, historical fiction, African literature, and inspiring underdog stories, though I enjoy wandering across many genres. My reviews are also cross-posted to Amazon and shared through my blogs, giving books exposure to multiple audiences.

If you’d like me to review your book, you’re welcome to send me a message here on Goodreads. I typically ask for at least 2-4 weeks’ reading time to ensure I can give each book the thoughtful attention it deserves.

I’m always excited to discover new stories and share them with my readers— so let’s connect, read, and celebrate storytelling together!

Sarah Vigue (sarahvigue) | 1 comments Hi,
I'm planning to launch my first ever book (Christian memoir) in November. I will need a launch team. Would you be interested?
Confession: I've not done this before!

Still with me? Ok, well the memoir is a Christian testimony about overcoming trauma (including those with mental illness) with the help of God and some counseling. If that topic interests you and you'd be willing to join the group, please let me know :-)

Expectations: Read a copy of the memoir I send you, post an honest review on Amazon/Goodreads once I get it set up and maybe share some social media posts here and there.

I'm still figuring this out but that seems like a good start to me, what about you?

Blessings,
Sarah Vigue

Angela Diane | 3 comments Hey fellow authors and readers,

My name is Amy Decker, though I write under the name Angela Diane. I chose this pen name to honor my late sister, whose life and spirit inspire my stories. Before our mother passed suddenly, my sister was incredibly high functioning, living with bipolar disorder while still helping others. After that loss, she struggled deeply. Through my writing, I hope to continue her legacy by helping people better cope with or understand mental health challenges.

Alic B. | 4 comments My name is Alic, and I’m a Christian author just starting out. I recently published “Prayer Journal for Women: 52 Week Scripture, Devotional & Guided Journal”. Along with that, I also love working on devotionals, journals, and inspirational books that help readers connect more deeply with faith and daily reflection. ✨

I’m here to learn, connect with other authors and readers, and hopefully exchange some honest feedback on books. I’d love to hear your thoughts, ideas, or even critiques — I truly value different perspectives as I grow in my writing journey.

Looking forward to getting to know all of you and discovering your books too! 🙏📚

Edmond Thornfield (ethornauthor) | 2 comments Hi, everybody! I'm new to Goodreads, but I am an experienced editor. If you’d like me to review the advance copy of your novel and provide feedback/review before publication, let me know. I prefer reading literary fiction, especially historical, fantasy, and romance. I'm not a good fit for chick lit, horror, murder mystery, and sci-fi. (And nothing that portrays abuse to animals!)

Serenite Hope | 7 comments Hi everyone! 👋

I’m Serenite, an indie author who just released my first book Whispers of Healing. It’s a mix of poetry and short reflective pieces that explore resilience, loss, and the quieter ways we mend ourselves. My hope is that it feels less like “literary homework” and more like sitting with someone who says the thing you didn’t know you needed to hear.

I’m excited to be here, connect with fellow book lovers, and learn from this community. If anyone enjoys poetry/short stories and would like a free copy in exchange for an honest review, I’d love to share it with you. And of course, I’m happy to support others’ work too.

Looking forward to the conversations here! ✨
