Hi Audrey!

I'm a huge fan of all sorts of books. I like Young Adult the most though. I love romance too. Contemporary. I love the author Rainbow Rowell for her contemporary novels. And, I especially like books with a fantasy aspect to them.

What about you?

Bean,

I like YA romances as well but I usually don't read a lot of paranormal, although I read Twilight and other vampire and shifter stories, or fantasy.

Bea,

It's a toss up between YA and Regency Romances. I don't think I can name one favorite book but I loved The Hunger Games Series, Twilight Series, and The Cynster Series by Stephanie Laurens.

Soror Hippolyta (sororpythiahippolyta) | 3 comments My name is Tamara Wright, my pen name is Soror Pythia Hippolyta. I am just trying my hand at writing. This started out as just a fun project while I was substitute teaching part time while I was in grad school and took off with a life of its own, the series that is.
I would love some feedback on my work, as I am rewriting it now in a special edition adding on another book to the series, if anyone would like to read it, I would love the constructive criticism. The books are free for download from 09/2/2017 and will be for five days after that. You can email me personally at anthropology_lady365@yahoo.com and even put a review on my author page on Amazon.

Lauren (brokenlyliveon) | 1 comments Hi all!

New to this group and a newly published author. My first book is an historical fiction / romance set in the Belle Epoque France and deals with the curiosities of life as we are dropped into it. I love to read and review books and am always on the lookout for books that catch my interest. I hope to find some good books through here, and maybe a person or two who would be interested in reading and reviewing my work. :)

B.F.J. Mullen (bfjmullen-authorofdillonsmill) | 1 comments Hi all, I'm new to Goodreads and would love some feedback on my debut novel "Dillon's Mill".
The link is as follows: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_...

The synopsis is as follows:
"Since the death of his wife and son at the hands of his sworn enemy, Neil Dillon lives the life of a recluse, on his once thriving family farm in the north of Ireland.
Tommy Smyth, after surviving a traumatic upbringing at the hands of his alcoholic mother and the local children's home in North London, befriends a kindly Irish family, who take him in, and treat him as one of their own.
One night, Tommy receives a phone call that changes the course of his life forever.
Dillon's Mill is the story of Neil Dillon and Tommy Smyth, the people and events that shape their lives, and the one meeting between the two men, devastating in its consequences, that changes the path of theirs, and their families lives forever."

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated,
Regards,
BFJ

I have written a few books, My latest book is Sebastian: Conquest of power, it's the 3rd book in the series. David Laing | 33 comments I'm a polymath, not a PhD, and as such I have a variety of interests that I write and self-publish about from sci-fi novels to the scientific basis for a synthetic view of the planet we live on. My amazon author page is at https://www.amazon.com/David-Bennett-.... Take a look, and you'll see what I mean. Paying closer attention to what actually exists rather than to what people think and say exists leads to some mind-bending revelations, be they in a love story or in a synthetic, put-it-all-together view of Earth. I do that sort of thing daily, and even though I've been incredibly busy just getting it all down, I recognize the high value of good reviews, so I'm taking a few moments to put out a call for your honest impressions of what I've found so far. Please look it over, select anything of interest, and let me know if you want to see more (which I'll then send you) and what I can do for you in return. Tx!

I am not a NY Times Bestselling Author…. YET, but certainly hard at trying to get there.

As a new Author writing across all contemporary fiction genres, I have released 2 Romance/Mystery Novellas and busy with a 3rd book (adventure/action).

I have found it incredibly challenging to gain reviews and sales (still debating which comes first) so I'd really appreciate any organic reviews, please?

For those interested, you can view my GR Author page here and PM/email (books@urcelia.com) me for details.

Hi Noor, welcome. I've been an avid reader and follower of Goodreads for a long time - but never thought much about actually posting till recently.

Children Of The Furnace is due to be published on 17th Oct but I'm offering free giveaway copies until that date in exchange for unbiased reviews. The story has a five star review from Readers' Favorite.
“Amazing. Vivid and fascinating… nuanced and complex. An engrossing novel that changes the way you see the world.” Caitlin Lyle Farley, Readers' Favorite, 5 star review
"A compelling plot and great writing. Wil is incredibly sympathetic and Jace is a brilliantly ambivalent character." – Roisin Heycock, former commissioning editor YA One World Books.

Truth died in the fires. Only through courage can it be born again.

Dark, powerful and heartbreaking, Children Of The Furnace compels with a uniquely stunning world and one of the greatest characters you’ll ever be afraid for.
Under the iron rule of the Revelayshun, one boy discovers that he’s marked as a Heater, one of the old-time heretics who burned up the world.
But he holds the key to a secret. Sekkerland’s Shame, the Atrocity, is a great lie – and the Revelayshun will use fire, blood and death to hide the truth.

Email me on brin.t.murray@gmail.com or message for a free copy if it sounds like your kind of story (can send mobi file direct to your kindle),
Thanks, brin

S. Daisy | 64 comments Hi,

I'm a book reviewer, and have been for a while, although I'm still semi-new to Goodreads. I'm a partner on a book blog, twogalsandabook.com, and myself and my blog partner love to review good books. We are both especially interested in clean (or relatively clean) historical fiction and nonfiction, and we both prefer physical copies but are willing to read ebooks too.

I go through reading phases, where I read a bunch of one kind of book, and then a bunch of another. Currently, I have two phases going on: 1500s royalty, and books about ships, pirates, and the sea. If anybody has books about these that they have written, feel free to contact me, and if it looks good and I'm not too overloaded with books to read then I'd love to review it for you! :-)

All the best,

Daisy

I write as Linda Cousine for my adult titles and as Linda Rey for teens and tweens (as a way to confuse my family and complicate my life, but mostly to keep my sweet innocents away from my middle-aged hotties). I’m an indie author with 4 adult titles and 3 teen.

I’d love to say I adore Goodreads, but I’m afraid I find it incredibly hard to navigate and spend more time pounding my keyboard in frustration or contacting librarians with HELP, I’VE SOMEHOW DELETED ALL MY REVIEWS!!! messages, than I do being productive. If anyone knows of a good course I could take, or Goodreads for Dummies, I’d be forever grateful!

J.A. Wright (jawright-jodi) | 2 comments My novel How to Grow an Addict has been out for almost two years, but I'm just now catching on to the importance of helping my book get out and into the world with reviews.

My novel is a pretty accurate example of how quickly and easily addiction can take over a young life. Similiar to the way the current drug epidemic has crept in and taken so many by surprise and similar to how my own drug addiction progressed and took over my life.

I'm looking for a few more reviews and can supply a Kindle or paperback version.

Thanks very much for the opportunity to connect with this group.
