Dani went to bed, thinking about rife, and for once she wasn't scared.

Patrik went slowly, carefully healing all the points that he had enough energy to.((I think you do too.))
Rife started thinking about Gwen, and what had happened tio her. Then he thought of that girl he met today, Dani, she seemed normal enough. Atleast she didn't have an Army of Shadows hunting her.

Gwen walked down the street and stopped at her favorite cafe.
"The usual," She said sitting down at the bar, "And a chocolate muffin."
"Rough day," the waitress asked.
"Yes and no," Gwen said, these employee's knew her too well.
When Gwen got her cappuccino with Irish Cream and lots of sugar, she watched out the window and sipped her coffee, her heart stopping every time she saw a guy with brown hair and green eyes.

Gwen sighed, what was she doing, Rife could be anywhere. It was no use looking anyway, he probably wouldn't even remember her, and if her did, would he want her? No one else seemed to, she thought. She payed for her food and left, walking towards the park, she didn't want to go home to an empty house.

Patrik nodded and Emmy helped him up and kissed him as he went up to his room. Emmy looked down at Salem"You feel any better?"
Rife appeared under the shade of the willow that was sitting off in some distant corner of a park, somewhere. He looked around surveying the landscape silently
Salem struggled to sit up. "I'm not perfect, but that wasn't expected anyway. I'm not gonna die," she said simply.
Emmy sighed"Well Thank God." Emmy said helping her up.
"You want to get some rest? Only if you prmoise not to make Wave scream like that EVER again. It freaked me out." She admitted
Salem flushed. "Waverley...omigawd is she okay? I didn't even think of that."
Dani ran to the park. She noticed a corner that was completely deserted. There was a shady- looking willow tree in the corner. She walked over to it and sat down, leaning against the trunk.
Emmy shrugged"Patrik Calmed her down. She was just screaming at the top of her lungs 'It hurts, It Hurts' Or maybe that was you. You were screaming in your head and the second I walked in I was like BAM! Salem's thoughts."
Gwen smiled at the playing children as she walked to the far end of the park. Her favorite willow was there. She sat down and leaned her head against the trunk. It was so peaceful to be under the hanging branches.

"It was the both of us then," Salem sighed in releif. "She only got the mental part..so she wasn't really in pain...it just felt like it."

((hehe)) Rife spun feeling someone's pulse hit the ground behind him, his powers were tweaking, just like Emmy's and Patrik's. He looked down at the girl seated on the ground. Her profile looked familiar, he gazed down at her trying to put the peices together. Looking at the so familiar stranger, or not so stranger.
Dani turned and saw Rife. "Oh. Hi." she said quietly.

Dani nodded and stood up. "Well, good luck." she said and walked away, deciding that it was too crowded.

"No, I don't think I will," She said stepping away. But the man kept closing in the distance. "Get away from me," She yelled her eyes glowing an icy blue.
The man held up his hands and backed away, "Ok sweetie."

She stretched, winced, and promptly dropped her arms to her sides with a wry smile. "Note to self: rest up before doing anything physical."
Emmy laughed "I'll keep that in mind next time you want to get fried by our own energy."
"Yes," Gwen said frustrated, turning to the person who'd tapped her, her eyes still icy. As soon as she saw the mans face, she gasped. Her eyes turned back to normal, but she couldn't say anything, just look at him.

Rife gaped at her and finally managed to choke out"Gwen...?" he couldn't believe it, here she was back in his life like a blazing star.
