I've been a bad boy lately guys... I haven't started reading A Christmas Carol and Other Christmas Writings yet. But I'm getting the grips on The Dead Zone recently and, man, the book's better than the film.
This is my first foray into Sai King enormous body of horror...
Wish me luck that I'll come out unscathed and un-cursed when I'm through with it...

Wow., Im now exactly at the middle of The Magician. I know its a spoiler but Im dying to know if Josh's power will be awaken in one of these two books?? Don't give on what book. Just a yes or a no.?

Scott finished it by saying they are going to meet King Gilgamesh and Josh started googling it. It's like giving a homework for the readers. I actually did googled King Gilgamesh after reading it. I love it. I have never been curioused about history this much.!! M. Scott Rocks!!
Finally, I'm going to start on the Alienist. Took me a long while, I know, but I really want to spend a lot of time concentrating on the story. And I finally have that time on my disposal...Well, until before February begins, when a whole lot of events are lined up.
Lanai, gosh! I like to read Shutter Island. It is showing next month! Did you buy your copy from Booksale or regular priced?

The Stand... But a warning though, it's more than a thousand pages... so just go for the quick-reads like Pet Sematary, The Green Mile Book Box Set...
i've also tried downloading some of his books in pdf/e-book format, but the reader in me still wants to feel the smell of old books and the texture of paper, so I opted to collect his books in hardcover...
And I know... His books are expensive...

I'm currently reading The Catcher in the Rye, and Lolita. I also started reading Inkheart the other day. But I think I'm gonna have to put Nabokov back on the shelf for now as I couldn't really get into the book as much as I wanted; the main theme just puts me off. =/
I'm with Dean Koontz's From the Corner of his Eye...This book, hooks me for it is, somehow related to Mitch Albom's Five People You Meet in Heaven, but of course, this is something more terrifying and full of suspense, I must say...
Hi Jade, yes. Nabokov's Lolita is not for everyone. Message is too strong. Theme is too dark. Read it when you already have a husband in his 40's or 50's and when the two of you have a teenage daughter. Maybe you will be able to have a good (but dangerous) perspective. Har har har

Hi all! I'm currently reading The Lord of the Rings, Fellowship of the Rings. Matagal ko na dapat binasa yun, kaso nakalimutan ko, saka tinamad ako. I'm planning to finish it soon and then watch the movie again on DVD.
