Resize mo muna ung image before upload sa flickr/photobucket. Pero mas gusto ko malalaking image lalo na kung iniinggit ko ang ating alien moderator. Haha!

There's an "add book/author" link on top of the comment box. Beside the "(some html is ok)" link. That's what I used. :)

It's the second book in Holly Black's Modern Tale of Faerie trilogy. It's just okay for me but that's probably because I'm more into high fantasy than urban fantasy.

Oh,. and you select Cover from the radio buttons. How come I only notice that now., thanks a bunch anyways., :)

Welcome to this geeky group Ariel., Glad to have a new fantasy lover member here., City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare? Woah., Finally found another guy who reads TMI.

Thanks, could you recommend any fantasy series I could read next? c",)

I will recommend the Queen's Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner and Crown Duel by Sherwood Smith. :) Hello shameless plugging of favorites. I posted topics about the books under "discussion > Discuss Your Favorite Books"

So, Aaron Vincent, aside from THE HUNGER GAMES, which one is the best among all the fantasy books you've read lately?

or "wicked lovely"?
I'm having a hard time thinking!

Wondrous strange, wala lang, hehehe.

@Doni: Did you read "My Sister's Keeper"? Ahahaha!
@Lynai: Far different in a bad way?"
Marco, I tried to. But I got bored after page 1. My lady friend has read all her books and she forced me to try reading My Sister's Keeper. After page 1, I gave back the book and apologize. Not for me.

My favorite novel by Ken Follet is THE PILLARS OF THE EARTH. Next is WHITEOUT. I already read EYE OF THE NEEDLE, HORNET'S FLIGHT, WORLD WITHOUT END too.

Aside from THG and CF, a lot. Mostly MG fantasy, I haven't read yet a YA fantasy novel that can equal my fascination over THG. For MG, there would be a lot but I would only name the one that is on top of the list and that is Fablehaven by Brandon Mull. I only have read the first in the series, partly because I'm prolonging the pleasure and partly because NBS and PB don't have enough stocks. I read it last November but until now I am having daydreams about it. While I was reading it, I really got lost to Mull's world. It's as if Brandon Mull cast a spell on you because everything is so vivid and real. I love Percy Jackson and The Olympians but I didn't got that feeling while reading it so I must say this is the best MG fantasy I read so far.
If this don't convince you, look it up on Wikipedia and read the Reception area (not the plot summary cause it contains a lot of spoilers) and see how well it was received.

Books I'm reading are for now textbooks... Need to study...

i'm a Sheldon fan! too bad he isnt around anymore to write new books such as his Master of the Game, If Tomorrow comes...

MG stands for Middle-Grade. Percy Jackson, Harry Potter and the likes belongs to that category. Most of the time, MG books are also considered as YA. But you can tell that a book is MG if you think it is too light to be YA. The characters are less mature than the characters of YA.

Yes, Byron. Textbooks first. If we can talk in Tagalog, most often than not we are Pinoys and Pinays. Ikaw nakakapagsalita ka ba ng tagalog?

Send me an email privately here in Goodreads, tell me which book you want to borrow and we can meet up.
Ang iyong,
Kuya Doni

Oh, you should! And read the book first before you watch the film. It's heartbreaking... But it shows a lot of courage...

I'm reading Wild Swans by Jung Chang. Its a a really book on the history of the Cultural Revolution. I am learning so much. And it came in handy because i was just recently interviewed by a panel of Chinese officers of a big power transmission company in China. Talk about luck :D

Nice book, Jzhunagev! I love love that book.

Hope you'll get well soon...
And now...
Let's go plan that Filipino Group Reunion, Meet-up!
Ahahaha!
I think I'm also inspired by what you said Sir at the Group Shout Out...
