Christina (christinaovallsbooks) | 384 comments For Grace

1. Lose Weight
TBR: Ecstasy Unveiled - Larissa Ione. This one is about 400 pages.
TBR: Beautiful Creatures - Kami Garcia. I have not read this book, but have heard that it is very good, and with 563 pages, it qualifies as long.
New: Outlander - Diana Gabaldon. I am going to try to start this one this year and have put it off so far because it is over 800 pages.

2. Get In Shape
TBR: The Game of Love - Jeanette Murray
New: Heaven, Texas - Susan Elizabeth Phillips. You seemed to like the first one, and this one is just as good.

3. Save Money
TBR: Amaury's Hellion - Tina Folsom. This is the second in the Scanguards Vampires series. I checked and it is lendable through amazon Kindle if you are interested. Let me know.
New: Undead and Unemployed - Mary Janice Davidson. You seemed to have liked the first one, but you didn't continue on with the series. This is the second book.

4. Eat Better
TBR: Cloak and Silence - Sherrilyn Kenyon. One of the lead characters in the book is a chef. If you don't own this one, it appears to be lendable on Kindle as well. This is also a shorter quicker read.

5. Travel
New: Born of Night - Sherrilyn Kenyon. This is definitely out of this world and one of my favorite series.

6. Spend Time with Family and Friends
TBR: Baby, I'm Yours - Susan Andersen. This one looks really funny and I added it to my shelves.
New: Kaleb - Nicole Edwards. This is a friends to lovers book, and is a fairly heavy erotica book. It was a good book though with a very good story line and great characters.
New: Three Fates - Nora Roberts. This is more of a sweet romance. It is one of my favorites by her and since she is one of my favorite authors and I noticed you don't have anything by her on your shelves, I thought I would give you at least one recommendation of her books.

7. Enjoy More Life
New: The 5th Wave - Rick Yancy. his is the first in a series of 3. I just listened to this on audio about a month ago and absolutely loved it. This is a young adult, apocalyptic book.
New: Moon Called - Patricia Briggs. This is an excellent urban fantasy book. It's not really a romance, but there are a few romantic aspects in the book.
New: Ok if you want a great vampire romance series, you should try Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. This series is excellent and coming to an end very soon. You could probably read the entire series all at once.
New: Another vampire romance book. Kiss of Midnight by Lara Adrian. If you like the J.R. Ward books, you will probably like these as well.

8. Get Organized
TBR: A Hunger Like No Other - Kresley Cole.
TBR: Lover Revealed - J.R. Ward.
Both of these books have been on your TBR for over a year.

I hope you find something you want to read. Let me know what you choose.

Joyce (eternity21) | 739 comments Hi Ashley, Here are your picks. I hope you find something you like here. It was hard to find stuff that is new too you. But I did manage it. LOL

1. Lose Weight:From your TBR list -Shadow of Night this is the sequel to "Discovery of Witches" which you loved as I did. I have not had a chance to read this one yet. But I will soon.

2. Get in Shape: New to you -The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon This book mainly is set outdoors through almost all of the book. It is a Stephen King novel but different from most of his other books. I am very selective when reading his books and this is one of my favorites.

3. Save Money: From your TBR list - Glass Houses This is a series that I am currently enjoying. I have a DRM-free copy to lend if you are interested and need it.

4. Eat Better: New to you -Wicked Appetite - the main character is a pastry chef. I really enjoyed this book and has a some paranormal elements and a bit of mystery too.

5. Travel:New to you- Summon the Keeper This is a book I recently read and enjoyed very much. Has some humor, some romance and a lots of paranormal but very light at the same time. It is set in Canada.

6. Spend Time with Family and Friends: From your TBR list - Grave Witch The main character has healthy relationships with friends for a change of pace. I really enjoyed this book and see you haven't started this series yet.

7. Enjoy Life More: New to you -A Natural History of Dragons: A Memoir by Lady Trent I see you have some historical novels on your TBR list. This is set in what seems like Edwardian times at least in tone. I recently read this and LOVED it! If you listen to audiobooks and can get it in that format it is even better as the narrator is wonderful.

8. Get Organized: From your TBR list- Girl of Nightmares has been on your TBR list for a little while. You enjoyed the first one like I did. This is another sequel I'm looking forward to reading also.

Shadow of Night (All Souls Trilogy, #2) by Deborah Harkness The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King Glass Houses (The Morganville Vampires, #1) by Rachel Caine Grave Witch (Alex Craft, #1) by Kalayna Price A Natural History of Dragons A Memoir by Lady Trent by Marie Brennan Girl of Nightmares (Anna, #2) by Kendare Blake Summon the Keeper (Keeper Chronicles, #1) by Tanya Huff Wicked Appetite (Lizzy & Diesel #1) by Janet Evanovich

Carla (carlacollette) | 347 comments Debra—Here are your picks. Sorry it took me so long—there was an ice storm in Michigan and I’ve been without power since Saturday night. I’m writing from the Holiday Inn, where we finally have internet and phone and heat. Happy Holidays!

1. Lose Weight: From your TBR, You Belong to Me (at 422 pp) by Johanna Lindsay You Belong to Me (Cardinia's Royal Family, #2) by Johanna Lindsey . It looks like it’s been on your TBR for awhile.

2. Get in Shape: I liked The Cinderella Pact by Sarah Strohmeyer The Cinderella Pact, a chick-lit romance by Sarah Strohmeyer. It involves a group of friends who decide to lose weight and the changes that come about because of it.

3. Save Money: From your TBR, and involving money and title, I’d recommend Mr. Cavendish, I Presume (Two Dukes of Wyndham, #2) by Julia Quinn Mr. Cavendish, I Presume by Julia Quinn. This one is interesting in that the timeline of the story coincides with the timeline of the first in the series (there are scenes with similar dialog), but the meaning of the scenes is much different than the reader was led to believe—ie more was going on than it seemed. It’s very clever.

4. Eat Better: I really liked Comfort Food by Kate Jacobs Comfort Food by Kate Jacobs, a chit-lit romance with a middle-aged woman competing with a younger one on a cooking show.

5. Travel: I just read Born in Fire (Born In Trilogy, #1) by Nora Roberts Born in Fire, set in Ireland, by Nora Roberts, and really liked it. It has wonderful descriptions of the country and Dublin.

6. Spend Time with Family and Friends: From your TBR, Animal Magnetism (Animal Magnetism, #1) by Jill Shalvis Animal Magnetism by Jill Shalvis features a tight group of friends and family (and is a fun, warm small-town romance).

7. Enjoy Life More: I loved (as did all of my book group) The Fault in Our Stars by John Green The Fault in Our Stars by John Greene, a YA love story (not really a romance, though) from your TBR.

8. Get Organized: From your TBR, I hope that I understand your to-read list, but it looks like you haven’t read Slightly Married (Bedwyn Saga, #1) by Mary Balogh Slightly Married by Mary Balogh, although you’ve read others in the series. I really like Balogh and liked this one. If I misunderstood and you’ve read this one, any other from the series will do.

Diane ~Firefly~ | 1512 comments Daffodil

We have so many books in common, it was a bit of a challenge to find something new. You obviously have great taste! I hope you like your options here and something sounds intriguing to read.

1. Lose Weight: I haven't read either of these, but I've heard good things about them, and they are certainly long. So give either Outlander by Diana Gabaldon or The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss a go.

2. Get in Shape: Both of these tend to have outside scenes. Amazon Ink by Lori Devoti - Mel left her Amazon tribe for a more "normal" life and gets pulled back in when Amazon girls start being targeted and messaged to her. Or try a fun romp with Julia Harper - For the Love of Pete and go on a crazy chase to get back a baby from some bumbling bad guys.

3. Save Money: It looked like you don't have a Kindle, which makes freebies difficult, so both of these are paranormal YA where money (or lack of) matters some of the students. First up is Kiss of Frost by Jennifer Estep - you liked the first one so check out the next from my favorite YA series. Or look into Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey which surprised me by being more layered and thoughtful than most YA.

4. Eat Better: Death al Dente by Leslie Budewitz is a start of a new cozy series set in Montana around a store that is trying to make "local" the thing. Or check out Falling for Gracie by Susan Mallery which has a tortured hero, a candy shop and the mother of the heroine has a pet pig. Or finally give Weddings Can Be Murder by Christie Craig a shot. You've liked some of her others, and this is one of my favorites by her. I really like the characters, even though they are all having issues with admitting their true feelings.

5. Travel: I didn't see which country you are from, so I went with outside the US. In England we have The Man with the Golden Torc by Simon R. Green which is kind of like James Bond meets UF (but the more campy Bond). Or check out the Greek Isles in Scoundrel by Zoe Archer.

6. Spend Time with Family and Friends: Lots of friends and family in both these picks. First up is Happy Hour at Casa Dracula by Marta Acosta where the heroine is accidentally bitten during a kiss. Or check out Truly, Madly by Heather Webber where the heroine has the power to "find" things which isn't as much help in her families matchmaking business.

7. Enjoy Life More: I'm further along on both these series that I gave recent high marks, so I've put up your next one. First up is The World of the Lupi series by Eileen Wilks, I just finished and loved book 10. You need to pick it up at book 4 - Night Season. Learn more about Cynna and Cullen as they travel to The Edge. Or you can check out book 1 of the Stacy Justice Mysteries - Opal Fire. I'm only through book 2, but have been pleasantly surprised at how much I've enjoyed this series.

8. Get Organized: Ok, both of these are book ones of some really good UF series that have been collecting dust on your TBR, so give them a chance. Red-Headed Stepchild by Jaye Wells has a half vampire/half mage assassin heroine in a world where the two races hate each other. Some Girls Bite by Chloe Neill has a heroine having to adjust to being a vampire after being turned based on an attack. Her best friend is a hoot.

Outlander (Outlander, #1) by Diana Gabaldon The Wise Man's Fear (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #2) by Patrick Rothfuss Amazon Ink (Amazon, #1) by Lori Devoti For the Love of Pete by Julia Harper Kiss of Frost (Mythos Academy, #2) by Jennifer Estep Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side (Jessica, #1) by Beth Fantaskey Death al Dente by Leslie Budewitz Sweet Success by Susan Mallery Weddings Can Be Murder by Christie Craig The Man With the Golden Torc (Secret Histories, #1) by Simon R. Green Scoundrel (The Blades of the Rose, #2) by Zoe Archer Happy Hour at Casa Dracula (Casa Dracula, #1) by Marta Acosta Truly, Madly (Lucy Valentine, #1) by Heather Webber Night Season (World of the Lupi, #4) by Eileen Wilks Opal Fire (A Stacy Justice Mystery, #1) by Barbra Annino Red-Headed Stepchild (Sabina Kane, #1) by Jaye Wells Some Girls Bite (Chicagoland Vampires, #1) by Chloe Neill

I think I'm going to read Trust Me by Jayne Ann Krentz and Shadow Game (GhostWalkers, #1) by Christine Feehan since I have read nothing by either author.

Thanks for the recommendations! I have a few others that I added to my TBR and downloaded The Student Prince by FayJay since I found it for free.

Nancy H | 1111 comments Hi Suzanne,
Here are your picks. I tried to give you a variety from throughout your TBR list, and what a great list you have! If you don't see anything you like, please let me know because I can easily come up with many more titles for you from your list since you have so many good ones on there!

Lose Weight: Angels & Demons and Dragonfly in Amber (I noticed you really liked "Outlander" so I thought you might want to read the next one.)

Get in Shape The Yonahlossee Riding Camp for Girls (lots of outdoor activity) and Big Boned (I saw that you liked the first two in the Heather Wells series and #3 is just as good.)

Save Money Deadly Gamble and Twenty-Eight and a Half Wishes I just read both of these freebies and really enjoyed them.

Eat Better Chocolat - really good!
Coffee And Kung Fu - one from your TBR that looked really good

Travel - two from other lands that you had on your TBR - Madame Tussaud: A Novel of the French Revolution and Things Fall Apart

Family/Friends - Hangman's Root - good story of friendship; and Shelter Mountain (This is the second in the Virgin River series, and I saw that you liked the first one.)

Enjoy Life More - Spin Cycle - an older book that made me laugh out loud; The All-Girl Filling Station's Last Reunion - a newer book that I loved

Get Organized - Two that have been on your TBR for a while: Rendezvous with Rama and Jemima J: A Novel About Ugly Ducklings and Swans

Happy reading!
