I've only read the first book. Twice. I reread after watching the season.

If you're a gamer, I'd recommend Witcher 3, it's amazing. The short stories were the best part of the books, though I didn't even love them; the TV show is good but the first half is kinda confusing if you haven't read the books. Basically my relationship with the Witcher is complicated lol.

Colleen: Crisis had some amazing cameos, and I like the aftermath the crossover has on the shows going forward. But the second half of the Crossover was kinda meh.

Same.

I'm blocking my metaphorical ears and pretending I didn't hear this, because I'm worked so hard to get here, it better be effing spectacular!
LOL

Gary and I are watching The Witcher now without our three year old for very obvious reasons. We’re liking it. Gary only barely played the game and I have no experience so we’re about half way and it’s confusing as heck but interesting enough that I’m still intrigued.

Is it the violence, or the boobs? LOL

It’s the boobs mainly. But yeah, the blood is a lot but Wesley watches the Marvel movies which is cleaner violence. Listen, his mom has blood lust. I love action and violence and huge monster eating people. He’s going to be a weird kid and it won’t be my husbands fault.

I have one question – why is Kim Baur so stupid!?! I am a little over half-way through the second season, and I do not understand her purpose.
She seems to have no common sense, and only the bare minimum of survival skills. So many of her issues could’ve been avoided if she just thought them through.
Jack frustrates me as well, because it seems like he goes out of his way to make things more difficult than they need to be, but at least he gets results.

I did just watch the series finale of The Good Place and cried like a freaking baby. So good.

Just curious.
I like him in Designated Survivor.
I’m not sure what else I’ve seen him in, besides the 80s movie where he was a vampire (can’t remember the name).

And its kinda cool its set in a small Norwegian town :D

A bit of both. He plays a good evil person, though. The Lost Boys was the vampire movie you're thinking of, and he plays a really good bad guy in Freeway and also in A Time To Kill, and An Eye For An Eye.
Not likable characters for me though. Maybe that's why I don't like him much.

Oh Three Musketeers. Love that movie with creepy Tim Curry. But sadly, Kiefer is probably the worst part of the movie. Moody!
I just binged Cheer on Netflix. It was a lot more addicting than I expected.

And yes, Curry plays creepy very well. I think he’s the reason I watched it in the first place.

I've been watching Cheer, too. I have one more eps left.
Heard that the company that runs the contest they are in is muscling in on that Netflix money. They have a new rule that any org that signs up for events like Cheer without their permission will not be allowed to compete. :-(
