I really like Franzen. This is not my favorite of his novels, but it was still enjoyable to read.

This was my first by him. I've had an idea in my head that I wouldn't like him, but it wasn't that bad, altought I didn't really care any of the characters. Which is your favorite?

I think my favorite novel is Freedom, another list book. But I really like his book of essays, How To Be Alone.

Found this beauty that was on my too read list in a Spanish house-library swap. Damn..This book is just mind blowing. So many different genres and entwined within it is a real life and a real account of what happened. The great thing about this book is, for me it just left me wanting to seek out more information and questioning things I had been taught and my knowledge, alas seemingly rather lacking when it comes to Dresdan. My understanding of his message which is akin to my own is, "Where there is power and riches to be had , there will always be people at the top willing sacrifice those at the bottom in order to hold on to that power and wealth, there will always be wars" And so it goes.

I am happy to have finished this drug-addled frenzy and will happily forget its tour-de-force nonsense.

Frankenstein: The 1818 Text by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley
Farewell, My Lovely by Raymond Chandler

The Rings of Saturn by W.G. Sebald

All good. I enjoyed Frankenstein the most.
