"Oohh, a Disney movie! I think we I'll definitely have to watch one of those." She said happily and picked a Mulan DVD from the pile. She took out the snacks, raising an eyebrow as she spotted his extra set of clothes. "Were you planning on staying the night?" She wondered, inserting the DVD instead of going to sit next to him. They regularly had sleepovers while they were growing up, but not as much now that they were old enough to drive themselves home.

Jake looked down at her with a smile," you are so cute it kills me." He muttered kissing her head gently," I know yu will hear me say this for the rest of your life but I love you bunches." He told her hugging her tightly. He chuckled softly," how many babies are we talking here?" He asked wanting to know just how many children she wanted. Jake of course wanted a pretty big family whether they had all of their kids or adopted some
Wyatt laughed softly," okay Disney princess night it is." He answered leaning back on the couch and watching her," what? Ohh I don't know I always have an extra pair of clothes in that bag." He answered looking at her," I mean it might be easier in the morning if I spent the night here with you so I don't have to get up early and stuff and then I won't sleep through my alarm and have you call me a bunch of times panicking I won't pick you up in time." He teased
Brody took her hand gently in both of his, kissing the back of it gently. He didn't usually kiss her like this, but he didn't know how else to help comfort her. There was nothing more he could say. He kept hold of her hand as they took her out of the ambulance and into the hospital. "Where are you taking her?" He asked the doctors, as they started wheeling her away, panic overtaking him as his hand was pulled from hers
Joelle opened her eyes a little bit as he held her hand in his. It didn't really register in her brain what was going on but she had Brody around with her to help her with everything. When the doctors started pulling her away from him... She started to panic again "We need to take her for some X-rays to see if there is any internal damage done and just by the look of her neck he tried to strangle her," the one doctor said as a nurse said," umm sir... She's panicking."
Sofia blushed and smiled back at him. "I love you too, Jake. More than anything else in the world." She murmured and then caught herself. "Well, almost anything." She corrected and touched her stomach lightly, smiling as Kaden rolled around inside her. "And I don't know. At least two more. What do you think?" She wondered, playing with his hand. "Then again, we might change our minds when this little stinker gets here." She said and laughed a litrlw
Grace blushed just thinking of Wyatt staying over with her tonight, too preoccupied with the idea to notice the jab he took at her controlling and sometimes nervous personality. "That's fine with me. It probably would be easier." She agreed and gave him a small smile as she finished getting the movie set up. She dimmed the lights and sat down on the couch next to him, passing the popcorn bowl. "Do you want to?"
Jake chuckled softly," Ohhh now I have to compete with a little kid?" He asked teasing her," that's alright I love you too Kaden." He said looking at her stomach and tapping it lightly with his finger seeing if Kaden would move closer as he was known to do when hearing the two of them talking. "I don't know how many I want. However many we have is good enough for me." He replied watching as she played with his fingers ~~~~~
Wyatt watched her for a while as she put in the movie. "It would make things easier and I can just sleep on the couch instead of in your room like we used to." He offered with a shrug. He knew her parents were a little weird about tht sort of thing so he figured he wouldn't push it too much. Wyatt laughed softly as she sat next to him," I don't know should I?" He asked looking at her
Brody jumped forward as Joelles monitors started freaking out again. "Jo, it's okay. You have to go for some tests, but I'm not allowed to go with you. They're going to help you, and I'll be right here waiting until I can go back and be with you, I promise." He told her in a firm yet gentle voice. "Do you want me to call your parents? They can be here too." He murmured, knowing the police would contact them soon anyway. It would comfort her to know they were all here
Sofia rolled her eyes playfully. "There will be no competing for my love." She declared and kissed his cheek lightly. She smiled widely when the felt Laden roll to the side of her body that was closest to Jake. You could see him shift inside her just by looking at her belly. "Well j guess we will just have to see what happens. I think this baby is a pretty great start." She noted, her voice soft and affectionate.
Grace peeked over at him and nodded, chewing on her lip a little. "Yea, I think you should." She said softly and elbowed him a little. "It's been too long since we've had a good sleepover anyway." She teased and took a handful of popcorn. "And you won't have to wake up as early to take me in the morning." She pointed out
Joelle slowly turned her head towards Brody still looking at him with fear in her eyes. As she calmed down to him telling her what was going to happen she nodded a little bit and closed her eyes. She did want her parents there but really she just wanted Brody around to help her. Joelle was scared especially now with the bright lights and the nurses and doctors running around her. ~~~~~~
Jake chuckled softly," I wasn't going to fight over your love with Kaden... You will love him a little differently than you love me I would hope." He answered feeling Kaden moving closer to him with a grin. "Yup you already know who I am don't you buddy?" He asked leaning closer to her stomach after kissing her cheek. "Don't worry Kaden ill be home before you know it and we'll go out have have lots of fun just you and me." He told the unborn baby.

Wyatt chuckled softly," yeah it has been a while your parents won't freak out will they?" He asked looking at her with a small smile."I don't want to get you into trouble." He told her softly before he shifted a little bit and wrapped his arm around her shoulder as he settled back to watch the movie
Brody sighed and nodded. "I know it's scary, Jo, but I need you to be brave right now. I can't go back there with you, and you need to go back there to get help. So you have to let them take you, okay?" He said softly and kissed the top of her head. "I'll be right here waiting."
Sofia smiled, placing her hands on either side of her stomach as he spoke. "Of course you know your daddy, don't you baby boy." She crooned, a soft smile lingering on her face. "I can't wait to meet him, and see what he looks like and what his personality will be. And touch his little toes and his little hands." She said and laughed a little, practically glowing with thoughts of their baby.
Grace smiled and leaned against him as he wrapped his arm around her. "I don't think so. I don't really care I they do, though. I'd rather have them annoyed and you here with me than the other way around." She admitted and kissed his cheek lightly as the movie started. "If that's okay with you." She added and blushed a little
Joelle stared up at him as he spoke and then nodded just a little bit. She still couldn't speak but she calmed down enough to listen and understand what he was saying to her. The nurses looked at each other and nodded," We are going to take her now and then if you want to wait in room 208 that's where we will be taking her afterwards."
Jake chuckled softly and looked up at her," I can't wait either." He said softly," it's going to be such fun with Kaden around with us." He said grinning at her and then moving so he was laying next to her again. "Are you going to drive home or do you want me to see if my brother or parents can pick us up to go to the airport." He asked softly after glancing at the time over her head
Wyatt smiled a little bit "I told you best summer ever and if that means that spending the night here makes you happy than that's what will happen." He replied. Then he laughed softly," I don't think I have ever seen you turn red like that." He teased her
Brody listened to the doctor, nodding. "Okay, I'll be there." he promised." giving Joelle a strong look and a nod as they took her away. He found room 208, his hands and body starting to shake a little now that the adrenaline had worn off. He was so worried about Joelle, but he was even more in shock about what could have happened had he not shown up. Alan was locked away now, and he hoped that bastard stayed there for a very long time. He took a deep breath and called Joelle's mom, speaking telling them what had happened and what was happening now, and hen telling them where he was and around what time Joelle would be back.
Sofia bit her lip, her mood falling when she was forced to think about tomorrow. She thought about his question for a moment, considering. She would rather be by herself to process all of her emotions, but she thought it would be better if she didn't have to drive herself home. "I think maybe somebody should pick us up. I might be too upset to drive." she admitted, sighing sadly. She had been avoiding looking at the clock, not wanting to know how late it was getting. "What time is it?"
Sofia smiled brightly, finding his hand with hers and squeezing it tightly. "And I don't think I have ever heard you say something so sweet like that." she teased, kissing his cheek. She wished she could stop herself from blushing. It was weird to get embarrassed about things around Wyatt when she had never been embarrassed about them before. "But you staying here would make me really happy." she said softly, peeking up at him through her long eyelashes.
They put Joelle through a few tests to make sure she was goin to be alright. Once they were done they were going to tell both her and Brody what was going on at the same time. They settled Jocelyn into her room and then kept her hooked up to an IV and oxygen. "We are going to have to keep her overnight to make sure everything is working correctly. She has a slight strain on her heart and lungs because we are assuming that he tried to strangle her at one point and she has some stitches in her legs and stomach. " the nurse said softly. Looking at both Brody and Joelle
Jake knew that bringing up him leaving was a bad idea but he needed to ask about how they were getting there before it was too late. He nodded," okay then I'll see if Kyle can pick us up and then take you back home." He said softly runnin his fingers through her hair," Im sorry I had to ask." He said softly," I just thought I would forget if I didn't ask when I was thinking about it." He commented softly. "Ohh it's about 5:45." He replied
Wyatt smiled a little bit and held her hand gently. " I'm pretty sure that I have said something just as sweet before but you just didn't think of it that way." He answered grinning at her. He looked down at her and nodded," okay then I'll stay here with you now matter what your parents say... My mom is cool with it anyways."
Brody nodded, listening closely to the nurse and soaking it all in. "Okay...okay." he murmured, nodding slowly. "So what do we do about this strain? Is there some kind of medication she needs to take or precautions we need to be abiding by?" he wondered, bringing his chair up to Joelle's bed. "All the tests came out alright other than those things, right?" he confirmed
Brody nodded, listening closely to the nurse and soaking it all in. "Okay...okay." he murmured, nodding slowly. "So what do we do about this strain? The nurse shook her head," other than her staying as calm as she can and not getting too worked up everything should be fine." She replied," she is fine yes but after everything that has happened I would say that she won't want to go back to the place it all started and she will be very jumpy and scared of a lot of things." She replied," we had to sedate her a little so we could make sure everything was alright as she was panicking quite a bit."
Sofia nodded, moving closer into his side. "I know, baby. You bringing it up is the right thing to do. I shouldn't make you feel bad about that." she said softly and squeezed him a little. "I don't like thinking about having to say goodbye to you, but I have to do it whether I want to or not so I might as well be mature about it." she said honestly and shrugged a little. "We still have time to do something if you'd like, or I'm happy with just hanging out here for the rest of the night." she said honestly and looked up at him.

Grace laughed loudly and rolled her eyes. "I'm sure you have, actually, Wyatt." she admitted, unconsciously scooting closer to him as she laughed. She looked over at him and shrugged a little. "It doesn't really matter that much to me if my parents get mad or not. They're always finding something to get mad at me for. I'm an adult, anyway." she said and elbowed him playfully.

Brody nodded as he listened. That explained why Joelle hadn't really been very aware of the conversation they were having.He could understand the bitterness as well. Hopefully he would be able to help her ease back into her life once she was released from the hospital. "I can stay with her tonight, right? Her parents will visit too."
Jake nodded a little bit and sighed," I know you don't want to say goodbye to me and I don't want to say goodbye to you and Kaden." He said softly kissing her head as she moved closer to his side," I don't care what we do as long as I get to keep you around with me a little longer." He answered
Wyatt chuckled softly and wrapped his arms around her effectively bringing her closer to him," yeah well they can be mad at me and not you now." He replied snuggling into her. "I like it when you are happy." He said with a grin for her. He knew one day he might not be able to hold her like this and he wasn't going to waste a day if he could be close to her and make her smile he would
The nurse nodded," yes you can stay with her.. But try to have her stay as calm and still as you can keep her.. I'm sure waking up here will be disorienting for her and she will have a lot of things to deal with once she is awake." She said softly
"Well I'm not going anywhere. That isn't affected by what we do tonight." Sofia argued and laughed a little, rubbing his chest to comfort him. "Well, I don't really feel like changing my clothes. So I say we stay in for tonight." she said and sighed, stretching languidly next to him. "Is there anything in particular you want me to make for dinner? We could light some candles and eat on the coffee table in the living room." she suggested with a shrug.
Grace smiled, swinging her legs around to rest them over his lap. "They'll probably still get mad at me anyway, Wyatt. You know how they are." she said, rolling her eyes and tossing some popcorn into her mouth. "Well I like it when I'm happy, too. And when you're happy." she said with a small smile and pulled on a lock of his hair that was a little longer than the rest. She loved Wyatt, and se didn't care anymore what he parents thought. She didn't know how much time she would have left to just enjoy herself with the people she wanted to spend time with, and she wasn't going to waste any of it trying not to step on peoples' toes.
Brody nodded. "Okay, I understand. I'll be here to calm her down when she wakes up." he said softly, gently brushing his hand over Joelle's. He slid back in the chair when her parents walked in, jerking his hand away. They didn't like him, and they didn't approve of him being so close to her. He wouldn't leave, but he didn't want to upset them more than they already were.

Jake shrugged a little bit," okay so we can stay in and watch a movie after dinner and I don't care what you cook me I will eat anything... Or I can order us our favorite food and we can just have that then we can relax more and you don't have to do anything just get candles." He answered after a little bit of thought
Wyatt laughed softly," Yeah well I think they would be even more mad if they came home and found us like this on the couch I may be banned from ever seeing you again." He teased her softly resting one around across her legs. "Well you being happy makes me happy so we are even." He said looking at her. Anyone could see how much Wyatt loved Gracie and that he would do anything for her no matter what happened to him in the end
The nurse nodded and as she left the room Joelle's parents rushed in. Although she was 21 and lived on her own they still hated the fact that she and Brody were so close and often her mother would blame him for the fact that she had been dating Allen. "My poor baby." She whispered," Why are you here?" She asked," you are the reason she is in the mess." Her mother accused
Joelle woke up a little at that point and took in a deep breath or well tried to but se was still struggling slightly to breath. As her big brown eyes opened up and looked around in a panic trying to find Brody
Sofia shook her head a little. "I want to make you dinner. I'll do something easy so it won't take too long." she decided. "I just... I don't know, this is going to sound silly." She admitted and blushe a little, liking down a his chest as it rose and fell steadily with his breaths. "I just want the last meal you have here to be from me. Something to remember by." She said softly. "And something to look forward to when you come home. I'm sure you won't be getting many home cooked meals over there." She added with a small smile.
Grace wrapped an arm around him, resting her hand on his shoulder and stroking his neck gently with her thumb. "Well, I don't really care what they say." She repeated and smiled at him, moving her face closer to his. "If you're happy, I don't care what anybody says about us." She murmured, slowly moving closer to him until their lips touched.
Jake nodded slightly and smiled," okay I can deal with you cooking for me one last time before I leave." He said softly," and just so you know I don't think it's silly I think it's sweet and I love you for it.. How about you cook and I'll go out a movie in and get some candles." He suggested sitting up as turning around so he could look at her with a gentle smile
Brody looked away, feeling like she had slapped him. He did feel that this was his fault, but he had been trying his best to take care of her. He didn't know why Joelle's parents hated him so much, but it hurt to see theobrempt in their eyes. "I pulled him off of her and called the cops." He explained quietly, too nervous to know really what to say. He returned to Joelle's bedside as she woke up, kneeling down so his face would be close to hers. Hopefully she would pay ate took you I'm that way and cal down. "It's okay, Jo. You're okay now. The tests are over, you're in the hospital room. Your parents are here with me. It's all over now, Joelle. You're safe here." He said softly, his eyes full of concern.
Wyatt turned his head a little to look down at her while the movie played on in the background," Well I'm happy being here with you." He answered slipping both of his arms around her waist as he kissed her back gently pulling her against his chest. Right then if her parents walked in Wyatt wouldn't care a bit but he just wanted to be close to his best friend
She frowned," I don't care if you weren't around maybe she would have met that boy and she wouldn't be in this mess." She told him. It wasn't that she hated him but seeing Joelle looking so beat up and helpless in the hospital bed upset her to no end. Joelle stared at Brody and slowly nodded reaching her hand out to him still not able to talk. But she whispered," Stay."
