((I knowwww. I have a whole room full of stuff I've bought for the apartment, but I don't want to start sorting through it lol. And okay, yay!))
Wyatt nodded a little bit," well don't worry about it." He said softly keeping her tucked up against his side. "That's why I'm here to help you with everything." He told her softly kissing her head," Now it's time for you to go to sleep." Wyatt said softly hugging her a bit. " i would feel better if you woke me up in the morning and not me waking you up." He commented with a soft chuckle
(((Haha well I would love to sort through all of it and move into an apartment.. I really want to get out of my house but I don't have the money. ))
((I'm super excited for it, I'm just too lazy to start lol))Grace rolled her eyes, laughing softly. "That's just because you don't want to have to be the bad guy and make me wake up. You're going to make me be the bad guy." she pouted, turning around a little so he could see her face. She sighed and settled back against him, resting her hand on his arm that was wrapped around her lightly. "I'll wake you up, though. I have an alarm set in here already." she said with a small yawn, closing her eyes happily.
Joelle woke with a gasp a few minutes later right as a nurse came running in the door. "What's going on what happened?" She asked. Joelle was shaking still in slight panic mode as she stared up at Brody still breathing hard as the nurse gently made sure everything was alright with Joelle and then said," Sweetie you need to put your mask back on it will help you breath better and get some medicine into your lungs."
"I don't know what happened; that's what you're supposed to tell me!" Brody answered, panicking a little himself. He stroked Joelle's arm gently, trying to help her calm down. "It must have fallen off while we slept." he said softly and helped put the mask back on Joelle's face, not wanting her to get in trouble for purposefully taking it off. "What do I do if this happens again?" he asked as she started calming down, gently pulling Joelle a little closer to him.
Jake laughed softly and then nodded," Im fine do what you want to me." He said though it wasn't often he said something like that. He sighed softly and closed his eyes enjoying the feeling of her hands on his back. Jake slowly relaxed under her touch and just was thankful he had such a thoughtful and loving fiancé to come home to once his tour was over. He smiled," Thank you Sof." He muttered keeping his eyes shut
"You're very welcome, handsome." Sofia answered softly, a smile on her face as she leaned down to kiss the back of his neck. "I love you so much, Jake." she whispered, closing her eyes as well for a moment. She gently trailed kisses down his spine, her hands following as they expertly kneaded out the tenseness in his muscles. He was so perfect- everything she had ever dreamed she would find in the man she would marry. They had their fights and disagreements, but they always came through it stronger than ever. She just wished she could convey to him how much he truly meant to her, even though she couldn't find the words to describe it.
"I am not making you the bad guy!" He said softly," I'm just saying that if I have to wake you up it will be weird because every other time I'm with you you always wake me up." Wyatt replied softly with a smile for her," I had a feeling you would say that Gracie." He moved so he was laying on his side facing her tucking her small frame against his with a yawn. "Goodnight Gracie." He whispered.
The nurse frowned," Well what was she doing before this happened?" She asked not being fazed by the fact that Brody was upset with her. Joelle sighed softly and looked at Brody for a bit as he put the mask back on her face but didn't fight it for right then. The nurse looked at him," call one of us but try to calm her down it will help both of you a lot if you just talk to her like she is fine."
"If I'm not the bad guy, you better not be upset when I wake you up." Grace mumbled without opening her eyes, the corners of her lips twitching up in a smile. "Goodnight, Wyatt." she whispered, her breathing evening out as she drifted closer to sleep. It was surreal to have Wyatt in her bed like this; it felt like a dream, and the next time she opened her eyes he would be gone.
He groaned softly as his back muscles tensed under her touch. He shifted a little bit but it was only to press closer to her fingers. Jake sighed softly as he totally relaxed under her touch. Right then he as so happy that they were together more so than normal. He was going to try really hard not to take everything Sofie did for him for granted as he normally did with having her in his life and loving her so much
"I shouldn't be if you let me sleep." He teased her softly mumbling against her head. Wyatt smiled a little bit and just stayed where he was going off to sleep as soon as her breathing evened out. He sighed softly and drifted off to sleep tightening his arms around her a little more so that he was sure she was with him all night long
Brody looked up at the nurse, probably looking as clueless as he felt. "She was just sleeping." he insisted, starting to rub Joelle's back gently. He nodded to the nurse and looked down at Joelle, his bloodshot eyes full of anxious concern. "It's okay, Joelle. I'm here, and everything is fine. You're safe." he said softly, not sure what else to say to make her feel better.
The nurse nodded," then it was a dream and you can't really avoid them I'm afraid." She said softly," she should be fine now." She answered before leaving the room Joelle nodded and sighed softly as she let Brody comfort her. "You sleep." She said softly looking up at him though her eyes were slowing starting to close again
Sofia's own muscles tensed a little as he groaned. She smiled softly to herself as she watched him, glad that he had let his guard down for her tonight. Jake was usually a pretty private, reserved person. But every now and then, on nights like this, she could see every part of his beautiful soul. It was something she would hold onto the whole time she was waiting for her fiancee to return. She paid special attention to the small of his back as she finished the massage, knowing he especially liked that part. She stretched forward so she could kiss the side of her head as her thumbs pressed into that part of his back. "I love you, Jake." she told him again, whispering in his ear this time. She moved her lips to the side of his neck before repeating herself. "I love you," she murmured, smiling softly against his skin.
Grace and Wyatt were awoken an hour or so later when the light to her bedroom turned on. "What is going on in here?!" her father's voice bellowed, making Grace jump as she struggled to shake off the sleep and realize what was going on. He must have spotted Wyatt's car out front and gone looking for him. Pain lanced through her head as she opened her eyes to the blinding light. She winced, turning her face into the pillow. "Dad, can you please get out? It's late and we're trying to sleep!"
Brody sighed softly. "After you." he whispered, stroking her hair gently before resting his hand on top of hers to reassure her that he was there. He wished there were something he could do to keep the dreams away. He knew it was something she was just going to have to get over, but he couldn't help but feel useless in trying to help her feel better. His eyes stayed open as he watched her fall asleep, afraid that she would jump awake any moment.
Jake wasn't normally a person to be so open. He was more so with Sofie than any other person in his life which was why he made such a great navy man because he was so reserved and observant. He kept his eyes closed shivering slightly under her touch as he just let her continue what she was doing not caring one bit about anything else but her hands on his back and her voice whispering in his ear. "I love you too." He answered wanting to roll over and kiss her until they both ran out of breath. Jake smiled a bit at that thought but let Sofie choose what she would do next
Wyatt's eyes shot open as soon as the lights turned on and he rolled onto his back with a groan almost falling off her bed. " what is going on?" He asked sleepily and then blinked a few times just realizing that graces dad was standing over them and glaring at what
Joelle nodded a little bit as she drifted back off to sleep glad that he was holding her and touching her hand. Now as she drifted off into a dream it was not a scary and panic inducing one more of a sweet and gentle type of dream
Sofia shifted her weight off of him when she had finished with his back, allowing him to roll over to face her. She settled back down, straddling his hips and looking down at her fiancee. "What is that smile for?" she asked curiously, leaning forward on her elbows so she was almost laying on him, but still held up so she could see his face. "Is there anywhere else you would like me to pay attention to?" she asked playfully, wiggling her fingers as if they were magic.
"You. Leaving. That's what's going on." Grace's dad demanded, pointing a large finger at Wyatt. "I don't want to see you here again." he told him sternly, glaring both at Wyatt and at his daughter. "No!" Grace argued, sitting up and holding tightly to Wyatt's hand so he couldn't leave. "Wyatt is staying. I asked him to be here. He wanted to sleep on the couch, I made him stay here with me." she said defiantly, ignoring the pain radiating from her head to the rest of her body.
Jake just looked up at her as he rolled over. "That's for you to find out later."'he answered grinning now as he stared up at her "I love you though." He replied with a smirk and then shrugged reaching his own arms around her gently tracing her back. "I don't know where else should you out your magic fingers?" He asked with a teasing smile
Brody wasn't sure how long he actually slept, but he eventually drifted off to sleep next to Joelle. He woke up several times, however, his heart thudding quickly inside his chest as he checked to make sure she was okay and that her mask was still on. He didn't sleep long enough or deep enough at one time to dream about anything, and the night seemed to drag on hours upon hours.
Wyatt frowned knowing that that would be the reaction from her father. He sat up and was going to leave at least for a little bit and then climb into her room if she really didn't want him to leave. He looked down at her hand that was gripping his so tightly. "Grace?" He asked softly frowning at the look on. Her face
Joelle didn't really dream much that night but she would sigh softly sometimes as if she had been going to move and then her body remembered that it was painful to move. As it became earlier in the morning Joelle had shifted around slowly but surely and was close to Brody now to have her mask touching his chest
Sofia pouted at that answer. "That's not fair. I love you too, though." she told him and laughed a little, kissing his lips softly. She shivered slightly as his fingertips moved across her back, goosebumps raising on her skin. "Hmmm..I don't know.." she murmured with a playful smirk. "I could put them here." she suggested, taking one hand and moving it down his bare chest slowly, feeling the ridges of his stomach muscles underneath her palm and fingertips. She stopped tantalizing close to the hem of his jeans, running her fingertips in a line underneath his belly button. She bit her lip to keep the smile off her face, glancing up to peek at his reaction.
"Don't go." Grace begged, looking over at Wyatt with tears in her eyes. "Please stay." she whispered, her hand still holding onto his tight enough that he couldn't pull it away easily. Her father's demeanor only frayed her nerves even more than they already were. She couldn't bear to think of having to stay in this room alone now. "Please, dad. Just leave it for tonight, okay? Please just go away." she begged, dropping her face into the hand that wasn't holding Wyatt's. She moaned as she finished talking and shook her head a little, not able to stand the light getting into her eyes anymore. Her father just shook his head and walked out, slamming the door behind him.
Brody was surprised to find Joelle's mask against his chest when he opened his eyes this time. He smiled softly, for once wishing that she would take it off so he would be able to hold her.He wouldn't, though. Both because he knew she needed the mask and because he didn't think she would want anyone to touch her like that right now, especially him. "So beautiful.." he whispered to himself as he studied her sleeping face, not meaning to think it, let alone say it out loud. He shook his head to clear it and closed his eyes again, taking a deep breath to try and go back to sleep.
Jake chuckled softly and kissed her back," you'll find out soon." He muttered. He smiled just a little bit as he watched where she was going to put her hands. He sucked in a soft breath as her fingers slid down his chest," you can do that." He muttered softly looking back at her with a soft intimate smile slipping his fingers up the back of her shirt just slightly
Wyatt looked at her as she begged him not to go. He hated seeing her so worked up and upset so instead of pulling away from her and making her cry he nodded," okay I'm not leaving."'he said softly moving back close enough to her as her dad slammed the door he wrapped both his arms around her," it's alright he's gone." He said softly kissing the top of her head and tucking her body against his. "I'm here I won't leave you." Wyatt whispered thinking that next time they were spending the night at his house where his mom wouldn't care too much about it
Joelle sighed softly and opened her eyes a little wanting to go back to sleep as soon as she could. She yawned and stretched a little bit and then sighed again keeping herself close to Brody as she could get right then. Joelle had her hand laying on the bed in between them and then slipped it closer to his chest resting her fingers against his side
Sofia closed her eyes for a moment, just enjoying the feel of his rough fingers on the skin of her back. "Can I do this?" she asked softly and tentatively let her hand travel lower, unbuttoning his jeans and slowly pulling down the zipper. Her eyes stayed on his, searching. She didn't go any farther, asking him permission with her body language rather than her words. He may not even desire to make love to her, after all. She wasn't at her most attractive right now, her body round and soft with their baby.
A few tears escaped Grace's eyes, which she was squeezing shut tightly. "Can you please get rid of the lights?" She asked him, letting go of his hand but just resting hers in that spot on the bed. She was afraid to even move, lest the pain somehow get worse. The tears from her face dripped onto the palm covering her face, but she didn't cry anymore once those were dry.
Brody sighed, keeping his eyes closed but sensing that she was moving next to him. He stiffened a little when he felt her fingers touch his rib cage, but he relaxed after a moment and moved just slightly closer to her. It was almost morning now; he didn't think he would be able to go back to sleep, but he wanted to stay like this for as long as possible.
Jakes breath came a little faster as he felt rather than saw her hands on his jeans. He nodded a little bit," I told you to do whatever you want." He told her softly as his voice got a little deeper as he knew what was in her mind now. He stared at her his brown eyes meeting hers and he instead of answering pushed her shirt up a little bit more pulling her down against him so he could kiss her. Jake don't care how she looked right then she was still the most beautiful girl in the world to him and he would still be the luckiest guy on the planet that she had picked him to fall in love with
Wyatt nodded and got up to turn the lights off and then climbed back into bed with her. "Gracie." He said softly picking her up and putting her in his lap. "Gracie don't cry." He whispered pressing his nose into her hair and being very careful with her. Wyatt could just tell she was in pain and he wanted to do something to distract her or make her forget about it but he couldn't think of anything right then except just holding her close to him
Joelle fell back into a light sleep as the sun continued to rise. Of course she was facing Brody so the rising sun didn't bother her at all the one thing that woke her up a few hours later was a nurse coming in to check on her. "Good morning Joelle." She said happily. Joelle groaned a little and mumbled something about it being too early to he that happy
Sofia moaned as he finally kissed her, kissing him back deeply. "I want you , Jake." She murmured breathlessly against his lips and closed her eyes, tasting his lips again as her hands slipped beneath the hem of his jeans. She was more confident now that he hadn't rejected her, but still not pushy or demanding. While Jake was not the most open person, he had strong emotions. And she intended to see almost every one of them tonight, if she hadn't seen them already.
"I'm not crying." grace mumbled, but his gentleness just made her want to cry all over again. She kept her eyes closed, taking slow breaths. The pain radiating from her head started to lessen as her heartbeat slowed, calming down from the rude awakening by her father. It was not as overwhelming now that it was her and Wyatt in the room. She wrapped her arms around Wyatt's neck loosely, letting her head rest on his shoulder. "Thank you." She whispered. "Thank you for staying. He is so awful to you..." She said softly, feeling guilty for putting Wyatt through that just so she could have him close.
Jake smiled slightly as he kissed her back," I know what you want." He answered kissing her again and then adding," And I want you,". With that he proceeded to take her shirt off the rest of the way. He groaned softly as he felt her fingers slide lower. Normally Jake was very reserved with all of his emotions and things but right now with Sofia he was able to just be open with her for the most part. He did keep his fear of what would happen on his tour to himself and just let her guide him to what she wanted and let her take his mind away from his fears for the moment. "You are so beautiful." He muttered shifting a little under her so he was more comfortable as he hands traveled over her soft skin
Brody had eventually given up on sleep and turned the TV on quietly. He chuckled at Joelle's response, gently rubbing his hand over her forehead. "Cmon Jo, it's time to wake up. At least for a little while. Let her do what she needs to do." He told her, his voice gentle but also firm. She had been sleeping for a very long time, she needed to wake up anyway and face the day.
Wyatt nodded slightly," honey you can cry if you need to." He said softly," I don't mind I just want you not to hurt anymore." He told her pressing his nose against her head gently. " you're welcome.. I would rather have him yelling and mad at me than at you." He replied," I don't want you to worry about me okay Gracie?" Wyatt asked her gently moving her so he could look into her eyes. "You have to be truthful with me alright.... Is your head still bothering you?" He aske
Joelle opened her eyes and glared at him just like she would have if he had just woken her up at her house. She just carefully moved onto her back and mumbled out a good morning to the nurse. The nurse smiled a little bit," so I see you slept well no dreams after the first one last night?" She asked
Joelle shook her head a little bit," no."
Sofia helped him discard of her top, shifting also so she was laying partly on the bed and partly on top of him. She trailed kisses down his neck and across his collarbone, letting her body move slightly against his. She closed her eyes when he said those words, tugging down on his jeans. She didn't see herself as beautiful very often lately; the changes her body was going through we're not easy for her to always accept gladly. "You make me feel beautiful." She said honestly and pulled away from his warm skin to look down into his beautiful brown eyes. "I love you so much."((Are you going to want to skip this or go to PM?))
"I don't want to cry, Wyatt." Grace said in a tired voice, finally opening her eyes. "He will find something to be mad at me for either way. I'm the one that asked you to be here; you shouldn't be punished for just doing what I wanted." She said softly and stiffened a little as a surge of pain flashed through her head. The key to getting rid of these things was to relax and not move too much, which she wasn't being very successful at at the moment. She nodded a little, her green eyes watery as they looked into Wyatts. "Yea...it's getting better though. It'll go away in a little while." She told him softly, hating the worried look in his eyes. "It's okay." She whispered. "Really."
