Great choice, Okie! I'm reading more 2013 Christmas books this week. The current one is by Sarah Morgan, my first book by her. Recent reads I will definitely rave about a bit closer to their pub dates are Kristan Higgins's The Perfect Match (Blue Heron, #2) by Kristan Higgins and RaeAnne Thayne's Christmas in Snowflake Canyon by RaeAnne Thayne . TPM has my favorite Higgins hero ever. Irish, I thought about you when I read the Thayne. It's one of my favorites in the series. And, Manda, it will be a contemporary to add to your list of redeemed heroines.

Hope you like it, Okie!

Thanks, Janga. We'll add it when the time comes.

I finished Love and Other Scandals this weekend and it was lots of fun. Reminded me of a trad--only with more sexytimes, obvs.

Last night I stayed up way too late reading Ashes, Ashes, They All Fall Dead by my blogmate, Lena Diaz. Great suspense and great romance. Can't wait to finish it tonight.

Amber | 161 comments I have just discovered a new-to-me author Grace Burrowes. I'm reading her Lady Maggie's Secret Scandal and I LOVE it. I've been going through a dry spell lately of books that just are hitting the spot. And this one is like a tall glass of water. It's wonderful, at least so far, lets hope it doesn't disappoint.

Manda, I loved the Linden book, and I agree that it had the feel of a trad. I fully enjoyed the focus on the H/H with no over-the-top villains.

Susan (susaninaz) | 1075 comments Call me late. I'm reading Tessa Dare's Any Duchess Will Do. It's unconventional but sweet so far.

Irisheyes | 896 comments Okay, Janga, now I'm intrigued. Is that the one with Genevieve and Charlotte's brother? That did sound interesting when I first heard about the pairing.

I'm almost done with JoAnn Ross's CASTAWAY COVE and then I'm going to sit back and savor the newest Carla Kelly, THE DOUBLE CROSS. It's been getting great reviews and I can't wait!

It is Genevieve and Dylan's story, Irish. Who would have thought a bridezilla could be redeemed? LOL
