Which LIST book did you just start?
Another World, by Pat Barker. I just found 5 of Barker's books on a community free-books shelf, so I had to check out the audiobooks our library has by Barker too. This one is an audiobook, so I can continue work on my crochet blankets this evening.
Babbitt by Sinclair Lewis. I'd read (and loved) Main Street years ago, and then started Babbitt but stopped. When the NY Times ran a long article on Lewis in the book review last weekend, I decided to pick up Babbitt where I left off.
Just starting 1984 by George Orwell. It's a reread but the first time I read it was back in high school.
ya ya ya. I'm a little behind... I'm starting The Woodlanders.
And no.... I don't think I will finish it tonight...

The Children's Book, by AS Byatt. I also need to start The Museum of Unconditional Surrender before it comes due at the end of this week.
I have strayed from the list and have vowed to read more on the list this year especially the books I already own.Just started The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins.
Scott wrote: "Brothers Karamazov- Dostoevsky. Rereading it now that I can (hopefully) get through jt quicker."
By coincidence, I also just started a Dostoevsky novel, The Idiot.
I think the title is misleading; the main character is just guileless and friendly (so far), he doesn't seem actually stupid. I've previously read his Brothers K, Crime & Punishment and Notes from Underground, so this will leave me just The Devils of the five Dostoevskys in the Boxall list.

Starting King Solomon's Mines just a little later than intended; hopefully I'll finish while it's still being discussed!
The House of the Seven Gables mentioned The History of Rasselas, Prince of Abissinia by Samuel Johnson, so I decided to start it.
I'm starting The Count of Monte Cristo. It'll be my 3rd read... but I want to do it along with the group.
