Debbie L. London (debbiellondon) | 1 comments Hi!

I am a newly self-published author and I have written a self-help book, Residue, about my personal healing journey from generational curses and soul ties. This is not your average self-book, as it is very raw and real. I would like to recommend it to the group. Below are a few links I think will be helpful in guiding your decision. Have a great day!

Thanks Debbie. I will have a look at the book. I've just published a 2nd book (Fiction) which is a psychological thriller with an alcoholic protagonist also on a journey to find healing. It is one which deals with the themes of life/death, addiction/sobriety , racism and the fight for justice but above all it is one about the bonds of love which tie us together as humans. My publisher Hookline books was offering e-books for review if you want to contact them. I will also review your book which sounds excellent.
Every blessing Julia

David Lucero (httpwwwgoodreadscomdavidlucero) | 16 comments Vengeance: The True Story of an Israeli Counter-Terrorist Team

I'm reading 'Vengeance.' It's an older book, but based on the 2005 movie by Steven Spielberg. I enjoyed it so much I chose to read the book. It follows the book well, which is good. You get more details of course, and the book reads like a fiction novel, which is great. It pretty much captures the feeling that killing your enemy could backfire. Why? For each terrorist leader they killed, an even worse form of terrorist took his place. But then, what's the option? Do we peacefully co-exist with terror? Do we settle for the lesser evil and live with a certain level of control? Tough questions. It's interesting to see how this affected the Mossad agents and their families. The book still remains a good solid read even by today's genre.

‘Never settle, Cam, for anything other than what is right for you. Always put your needs high on the list; know your worth. Okay?’

That is my favorite quote in the book. This is an excellent read and I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Judy | 37 comments I am currently reading The Last Days of Magic by Mark Tompkins by Mark Tompkins on audiobook. I don't know quite how I feel about it yet. Although the story context is good in that it is a fantasy about the various mythical creatures and nobility of Ireland, it has some very graphic sexual content that just doesn't appeal to me. I will finish and review it however when I am done.

Also reading Betwixters Once Upon a Time by Laura C. Cantu by Laura C. Cantu. Great middle school book!

Judy | 37 comments I just finished Betwixters Once Upon a Time by Laura C. Cantu by Laura C. Cantu. I received this as an ARC from Netgalley. This is a great book for middle schoolers. Think modern day The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe and add in all the adversity that present day twelve year olds go through. This story contains fantasy, mystery, bullying, testing of friendship, and intrigue. This is the first book in the series but I am already looking forward to the next installment. This book will be released in early July and i am already planning on purchasing two copies.

I have started listening to News of the World by Paulette Jiles byPaulette Jiles . I am enjoying this so much!

Judy | 37 comments Just finished News of the World by Paulette Jiles by Paulette Jiles. What a great read. I actually listened to this on audiobook and the narrator, Grover Gardner, does an excellent job of storytelling. Highly advi[b[book:A Court of Wings and Ruin|23766634]ook:A Court of Wings and Ruin|23766634]se everyone to listen to this on audio.

I am reading The Man Who Carried Cash Saul Holiff, Johnny Cash, and the Making of an American Icon by Julie Chadwick by Julie Chadwick. It is about Saul Holiff and how he became Johnny Cash's manager/promoter for many years.

Today was the BIG day for me. I started A Court of Wings and Ruin (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #3) by Sarah J. Maas by Sarah J. Maas as I have been waiting many months for this release. This is the 3rd in this series. These are some of the best fantasy books written as Sarah J. Maas is an excellent author.
