What Are You Currently Reading? (doesn't have to be an Aussie book)

And now I've followed you on twitter for entertainment purposes. I didn't mind Twilight. Certainly didn't love it and its sequels (and honestly, who names a baby Renesmee? sp?), but I've always felt it was just "Romance with Vampires," even if they were sparkly perfect ones, and just a bit of light fluff as long as you could cope with Bella's characterisation.
But then came the movies. *shudders* Our (then) teenage daughter and I actually turned movie 2 off, less than halfway through, which is almost unheard of in our family. Usually we grin and bear it to the end, but that one was just too unbearable.

Going to be less Twilight tweets now, but who knows might do it with another book

So I cheered her here. But Michael is more than welcome to his opinion :) Reviewers definitely have a purpose to serve-just doing my bit as a fan :)

Isn't it called the The Disappearance series? I read book one; Without Warning

That's it. I'm almost finished the 3rd one and running out of steam with it for some reason. Possibly just exhausted, lol.

What a treat to find the reference to Broken Hill! Will be passing it along my Hillbillie friends when read.

Wow one day Amy you must've enjoyed it :)"
I found him quite amusing, and it was an easy read :)
Looking forward to the night circus, it has been on my TBR list for sooo long lol

I really liked the books, but the movies were too much. This sounds mean, but the way that Kristen Stewert breathes is seriously irritating!! lol
Not interested in zombies or werewolves but really enjoy all the different kinds of vampire from Lestat to Babcock to Edward and everything in between... Even Sookie's Eric was entertaining for a while.

Babcock!!!!!!!!!!! My favourite series at the moment!

It's going to be a long wait until book three though.

That's for sure. I was counting the days until The Twelve came out.

Thanks for the recommendation have added it to my tbr pile. It really is an interesting country that's for sure! Trying to understand their thinking sometimes can be quite challenging.

The blurb of the edition I mentioned is horrible due to misrepresentation - don't know who the hell wrote that - read the blurb of this edition instead - http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...

I am reading an extremely entertaining book by Nora Roberts called A World Apart. I usually only read her as J.D. Robb but I am enjoying this as a bit of very light reading.
A World Apart didn't take long so I have started The Golem and the Jinni. It has begun in a most satisfactory way. I think it may be a winner.

The Rosie Project, The Meaning of Grace,The Tour

I gave it 5 stars (review here: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...).
A bit lost now because I don't know what to read next....

Demographics are never right, I know a few of men that like romance novels, I don't hold that against them
