Skyra's eyes flashed approval at Sebastian's hit. Well done it was. At Fredrick's word, she turned to see the group far off with her dragon vision. A sneer almost escaped her but she kept it in. The pure hate in her eyes however was rather difficult to hide. They took everything away from her. They took away her mother, her safety, they took away... a flash of eyes passed through her mind and she looked down immediately. She couldn't think about him now.

Sebastian turned when Fredrick spoke, seeing the hunters. His face held no signs of hatred. Hunters had never been that big of a problem for him; he'd only been in an intense situation with them once before. Cade had saved him, some old friend of his. They hadn't talked since.
He was obviously pretty calm. "Where to now?" He asked Fredrick, keeping an eye on the hunters.

"Your teleporting abilities should allow you to follow the vestiges of my magical trail off of the mini-abyss. Absorb the transportation magic and bring the banshee and drake to their destination." Fredrick shouldered his pack and created a mini-abyss to the Eternal Abyss before leaping down it, intentionally leaving a bit of the magic when he closed it behind him.If the Lesser wasn't able to follow the trail, he could scramble the molecules of Skyra, Sabine, and himself across dozens of dimensions, making them the most dead people ever.
So, yeah. Good luck.
Sebastian raised an eyebrow with suspicion, before blowing out a tired sigh. "Whatever, better do as the old man says." He added, rolling up his sleeves and placing a firm hand on each of his friends shoulders. His eyes squinted shut as he focused on the trail Fredrick had left, and his traditional cloud of black smoke enveloped the trio.
It collapsed on itself after fully submerging them, leaving behind nothing. They had vanished.
((Eternal Abyss right?))

Fredrick sat on the only square foot of the cavern that was safe for sitting, on a small chair. The bench he'd sat on previously he'd rigged with two or three burst-into-hellflames enchantments. He pored through all of Belial's many notebooks, looking for something to link up what Tesir could do.Yes, all spirits could summon intra-dimensional portals. Fredrick could summon portals. But none of them could do it to the same extent as Tesir. None of them could drain magic like he did, either. He knew that it was because of Tesir's Dimensional Anchor, the chained rings, that he could do this, but... this control over portals was uncanny. It didn't make sense. Unless Tesir had gotten his hands on one of his father's portal devices, it was impossible. Only three had ever been made. One for Chaos's armies, one for Belial himself, and one for Plague's armies. Chaos's was now in the possession of the angels. He himself had Belial's. Plague's must belong to Frostbite... wait. Frostbite had reanimated elsewhere after his final triumph over Plague. Tesir could have grabbed that one and everyone would have assumed that it had been destroyed.
Yes! It all made sense. Tesir would have had ample time to drain away the magic in the device... wait. No. The mechanics in the device played a key role in creating the inter-dimensional portals. Tesir had to be linked magically to the device somehow to exercise that sort of control over portals. His link had to be strong, soul deep. Of course. It seemed so obvious now.
Tesir had two dimensional anchors.
Fredrick swiftly located and flicked on his own portal device. About the size of a small remote control, it was voice activated. It had taken months to code it to only respond to commands of his own voice.
"Locate machines of identical structure to yourself," Fredrick commanded.
It buzzed for a second. "Two matches found."
"How many of them are in this dimension?"
"One."
"That's perfect. Location."
"Unknown."
"Can you connect with it?" Fredrick responded calmly.
"Yes."
"Can you send me to it?" He easily kept the hope out of his voice. Just a job to keep him occupied, after all.
A pause. Then;
"Yes."
"Execute."
And he was gone.
