What are you reading in March 2013?
Well, I'll be finishing Martha Wells part 3 tonight, The Siren Depths. Then I'm behind on 4 WOT books, last month's botm and another group's genre choice.
Finished Railsea, which I quite liked, and started Downbelow Station, possibly my favorite C.J. Cherryh book.
I just started Charles De Lint's "Promises to Keep," today. This is a short novel and I think I'll finish it over the weekend.
David Weber's Torch of Freedom, Mission of Honor, and A Rising Thunder. And somewhere in there, I'm hoping to get to Ship of Destiny by Robin Hobb and Machiavelli's The Art of War.
I will be finishing Warbreaker soon. Following that will be Secret Teddy Society: Breaking The Code and if I finish that before month's end I will be ending the Genesis of Shannara series with The Gypsy Morph.
I'm going to finish off the Second Chronicles Of Amber and then maybe move on to some classic stuff, like The Silmarillion, or possibly Phantastes by George MacDonald.
Finished The Name of the Wind and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz on my trip to Italy, so now I think I'm going to start The Blade Itself.
Finished Downbelow Station -- I love that book! -- and am reading Gate of Ivrel, C.J. Cherryh's first novel.
Finished Gate of Ivrel -- it was short (and really, really good) and am headed through the Gate with Morgaine and Vanye for the Well of Shiuan.
Jeff wrote: "I'm going to finish Cordelia's Honor and move into the Tawny Man triolgy."I really liked Cordelia's Honor and am still making my way through that series. For now I'm in the midst of the Bitterbynde trilogy with The Lady of the Sorrows.
I am reading The Shadow Rising. I will continue to my re-read of the Wheel of Time from beginning to end.
Finished Hyperion the other day. I thought it was pretty cool and imaginative. Hyperion is such an amazing planet. Felt like I was there while reading. The ending would have driven me nuts, so I've jumped right into the second book The Fall of Hyperion
Just finished reading Assassin's Quest by Hobb (which was amazing). Doing a bit of Shakespeare and about to read Oliver Twist by Dickens seeing as I've been reading fantasy for two months now. After that I shall be beginning Pawn of Prophecy by David Eddings.
I finished Grave Peril by Jim Butcher yesterday evening. I really enjoyed it - and it was the best book of the Dresden Files Series so far. Can't wait to start book number four. But now I have to finish The Scarlet Letter by N. Hawthorne and I always wanted to read The Wonderful Wizard of Oz :)
St. Peter's Fairwhich I should finish in the next couple of days and Shadow of the Wraith. Not sure after that, maybe Fellowship of the Ring as a re-read or Kainan
Just started re-reading The Lord of the Rings, currently on The Two Towers. In addition, I will continue listening to The Wheel of Time series, currently listening to The Shadow Rising. Love to read, but I am really enjoying the audio book thing too. I have about a 30 minute commute each way to work and have been going through a book a month, on average, in THe Wheel of Time, should finish some time in 2014.
Finished Exile's Gate, the last Morgaine novel, and decided to keep on with C.J. Cherryh, now with The Collected Short Fiction of C.J. Cherryh (two thirds of which, admittedly, I've read before, but never in this context).

Sandra aka Sleo wrote: "I'm a huge Cherryh fan, too."This is the first time I've reread her stuff in probably fifteen years and I'd forgotten just how really, really good she is.

Yes!
Just finished The Riddle-Master of Hed which I really enjoyed and am working my way through The Passage
Just finished re-reading Terry Pratchett's Sourcery and Eric (can't find that to add a link for) and am on to Armageddon: The Musical and Nostradamus Ate My Hamster by Robert Rankin.Plus planning on reading Medieval Village, Manor, and Monastery by G.G. Coulton and thenEifelheim
I just finished A Celtic Witch, and I read Storm Front for the book club. On hold on e-reserve for the rest of the series. Will probably start all the Song of Ice and Fire goofiness soon..Also, not fantasy but my husband pre-ordered Leaving Everything Most Loved for me and I can't wait for that :)
Just finished Trapped by Kevin Hearne. Now continuing with Homeland: The legend of Drizzt by R.A.Salvatore.
Finished Red Country last night. It was the best of Abercrombie's standalones so far. I liked it a lot. :) Starting Watership Down now, but I'll probably set it aside soon to read The Great Gatsby

It's very good so far, very impressed.
Elise wrote: "Finished Red Country last night. It was the best of Abercrombie's standalones so far. I liked it a lot. :)"I liked RED COUNTRY a lot, but it is tied with BEST SERVED COLD for me. They are both fantastic standalones.
I noticed Paul mentioned THE GRIM COMPANY by Luke Scull. I am also very interested in that one. I'll admit I'm into the "grimdark" stuff.
Currently I'm reading ROUGH MAGIC:
I'll admit some bias, as I'm the editor of this book, but fantasy lovers won't be disappointed, and it is currently a Goodreads Giveaway, so feel free to check it out.
*Hopefully this doesn't come across as spamming the list. If so, my apologies, and feel free to remove the post. I'm just rather worked up. :-)
I'm reading The Phoenix Guards. So far, obvious echoes from The Three Musketeers, but I'm only a few chapters in.
Olga wrote: "I'm reading The Phoenix Guards. So far, obvious echoes from The Three Musketeers, but I'm only a few chapters in."Yep, that was a very deliberate homage -- I think Brust talks about it in an afterword.
Finished The Collected Short Fiction of C.J. Cherryh -- good stuff! -- and am going for something (I hope) fast-paced and fun with Prince of Wolves by Dave Gross.
