Very great points there Bozena. SK is just a power house with the inner strength of her characters and makes you feel awesome reading her books in general. It's like she is personally talking to you through each book.

Oooh. O_O i didnt know the general chit chat thread was alive too. i'll have to check it out XD. debating on opening up mass effect o_o.

New question: I'd love to be Bride. Her book was the first I read and guys I didn't know then about Sherrilyn Kenyon or the dark hunters, I had no idea that I was holding a book of a series in my hands. I read the synopsis and it said that her boyfriend ended their relationship via fed-ex and I was curious how she would deal with that. I loved of course that Vane is a shifter but what I liked most about this book was the love scene in Bride's shop. I still remember and love to revisit that part. And I liked that her dad is a vet supporting neutering and spaying, that he helps in sanctuary and that he threatens Vane with the loss of his manhood should he hurt his little baby. Wow. I did not like her sister but there is always a bad egg in the family. LOL

Although I do see your point and get what you mean. I hope the shellans come out more in the next installment considering that there is going to be some serious heat on the royal couple and this baby drama stuff.

On her website if you look at a character profile, it provides a phonetic spelling to pronounce the names. That is how i learnerd i was pronoucing Bride's name wrong. (thinking it was like wedding..here comes the Bride...not so). Also, Audiobooks are excellent for proper pronouciation. That is the main reason I got Ash as an audiobook (though i already had the actual book).
Hope that helps a bit! (not sure on the answer to either of the last two questions. will check back later to see if tehre is a new one today)

As in, do you walk over to someone and give them a compliment about their outfit or hair? Or do you wait for someone to introduce you to someone else to kick the conversation off? Or do you have your own unique approach to starting a conversation?

if its at a gathering of some sort i really dont talk to ppl unless they come up to me and talk. if its a random place and seeing a random person, if theyre reading a really good book or something that strikes my interest a lot then i might comment on it.

the bears with the sassy sisters lol

If I don't know the people I am usually very shy. I like people to approach me or sometimes just casually start a conversation about something in a waiting line. Otherwise it depends a lot on the topic of already going on discussions. If I can say something, I add my 50 cents to it and see if a reply comes.

Most recent thing i can think of is a few weeks ago when i went to check out the Autobots on display and the Trasnformers 4 set (they were filming in Detroit not far from where i work) I ended up talking to and hanging out with a few guys (maybe 1/2 hour or so). Just started talking becuase i asked one of the PR Crowd guys a question and we kinda geeked out conversation from there. Much like Manuela, i usually add my 2 cents if it is something interesting but am not as outgoing as i used to be (though i do have my moments).

New Question- What is the most memorable class you have ever taken?
