Question Of The Day

I loved that book as a kid and for no reason at all they made the movie creepy, weird, and the child was a complete monster. It came off like a quiet horror/dark psychological film. And this coming from the person who loves dark and horrific, just not from a beloved book that wasnt like that at all

I think my problem is that half of the movies I have seen I am not aware of that they originate from a book and either I have read the book but never saw a movie to it or I saw the movie and didn't read the book or I found that both were crap or both were good (but different). It is quite weird. :/

AHHHHH I loved Blood and Chocolate in school!!! Never saw the movie though. Borrowed in from a friend and my best friends sisted janked it from me *grrrr*

Sweet Cheez-its! Its Manuela!!!! Im doing pretty good. I was depressed the last couple days and didnt do much but drive people around and sleep. Im slowly getting out of that funk. Every now and then depression just takes over. I refuse to take the meds for it, so i have to live with the effects.
How are you sweet cheeks?

I know about depression and yes I don't do meds either. Just been out of it for a few months after a bout of about a year. Should see my place, it is a disgrace. I never used to be like that but I am married now and hubby causes a lot of sorrow and grief. I am worried about his health and the docs are not very helpful either...

New Question- What's the last book that made you cuss/curse out loud? Or that you actually felt you learned something from?

Cursing is not in my language, that is against my religion and it makes my ears bleed.
The last f@$&*&g book that made me sound like a crazy b^5&h was

I made a point of telling my cousin that if talking cats showed up to the house with a box, 1) Don't open the door and 2) Tell your momma you need to see a doctor

I read only the first one and fell asleep all the time, Had no chance to curse :(
But I liked the movies. :)

thank you Shari. ~smooches~

HAHA best thing I've heard about Dr. Seuss. I swear the things used to always freak me out in those books. Like what the hell are these things and why would you let them in with a talking cat?

And since you brought it up. Those stories with the human character that takes in a stray and they are this magical being that turns into a human later on and they hook up with the human has always wigged me out a bit lol. Going from one form of petting to another, definitely something different going on with Mr. Whiskers for sure.

I think I read that one or something similar years ago. I wouldn't mind...
But it is not true that those shifters are human in the first place as the Katagaria are the ones with the animal heart who can turn human while the Arcadians are the humans who can turn animal.

LOL that you would jump on this one, hahaha so typical. ~grin from ear to ear~
You girls are so funny. Hair on couch... vacuuming the pet... I have been through all of it years ago and gave up eventually. You decide to live with a pet, you deal with the hair. ~smirk~

I said human and humanesque. Cause after all even the Peltier dudes want to do the nasty in human form. So even they know that doing it like animals with humans is kind of skeevy. :P
And that is true on accepting the hair. But not at every turn though.

Kind of comparative if Lassie became a real girl and started dating Timmy instead of telling someone he was lost in the well lol.

Thought you would. ;)
And the book is acceptable for what? I lost track of the original discussion.
