Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Well said Carlena. As your weigh and anything personally belonging to you is YOUR own business or perrogrative and not any one else's business. People do need to step off with addressing stuff they don't know about.

Shari-amor | 5275 comments Cherale, that is cray cray. Its a game, it shouldnt even be that serious. Bringing real life problems into a game is silly to me. I'd feel a bit silly arguing about why breastfeeding is ok or not in Sims. Its just ideas and concepts. I don't think people should get up in arms about it

message 603: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments Shari they have nothing better to do. Lol.

message 604: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments Agree with you both. People get personal fast on the internet and it happens easily because they're hiding behind a screen.

message 605: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments lol you aint kiddin!

message 606: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments No kidding. I don't even join in stuff like that. But it is flooding left and right since sims 4 is to be do out soon enough. And people are forever trying to push ideas that never quite made it. I mean breastfeeding and what not was in Sims Medieval. But that is more for "historical" accuracy for the game. And would look weird with having bottles in the past. But yea, I agree. I mean yea I am down with some realism in games at times. But I feel stuff like that is controversial stuff and no game developer wants to be part of that. Particular for a teen rated game. They want to make the easy money off silly and fun stuff not overly deep thinking.

message 607: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments How I look at it is it's just a game. Get over it. There are more important things in life.

Oh yea, I've been told plenty of times to grow up and that I need more life experience and what not by a few people. Simply because I wasn't exclusively on their side. I hate that. Being put in the middle over nothing and then dissed when I'm not choosing sides.

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Carlena wrote: "How I look at it is it's just a game. Get over it. There are more important things in life."

Same here. I play it to get away from real life and just have a laugh about things. But at the same time these are also adults playing it too with stressful jobs. But still for whatever reason like to bring the drama into things. Should always be a leave it at the door when it comes to stuff like that.

message 610: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments Very true Cherale. They act like children. It's almost pathetic.

message 611: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments Seems like you can never win!

message 612: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments You win with me Shari and Cherale :)

message 613: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments No kidding. And I like the way that sounds. Like winning with you ladies as well. After all real friends are the ones that matter. :)

message 614: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments Yeah I play games to escape everyday life, I don't wanna make war with anyone. I just wanna make love and possibly learn a few cheats to better my Sims :-D

message 615: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments ^_^ that they do. I'm gonna to try and post those pics of my tats. Maybe one of the piercing. Not sure about that one.

message 616: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments Dude when I had the sims I cheated all the time! Lol

message 617: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments Hear Hear!

message 618: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Haha, I still cheat on sims. Just all the bugginess of sims 3 is just so ugh. Have to remember to save often like working in MS Suite on a crappy computer.

message 619: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments I've only played the first sims. :/

message 620: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments Dude we're best friends now, I already know I'm winning with you Carlena. lol

message 621: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments Lol, ain't it! That you are Shari. Best friends foreva!

message 622: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments I've cheated on them all. And Sims 3 you gotta save often. I cant tell you how many times, the game will cut off or freeze

message 623: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Not missing too much Carlena. They've switched development teams since sims 2 when sims 3 came out. And in a way some of the quality has gone down. But still interesting game nonetheless. :)

message 624: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments That's stupid! When my cousin played sims 2 it froze a lot. I was like, I'll just stick with the original.

message 625: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments I like the original. It was good. I wish I still had it :(

message 626: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Shari-amor wrote: "I've cheated on them all. And Sims 3 you gotta save often. I cant tell you how many times, the game will cut off or freeze"

Ugh, yes! Totally happened to me earlier. Got my sims all engaged. Enjoying the spring festival and all that good stuff. And it kicked me out. Thankfully I saved when they both reached the top of their careers. But just to re-do all that little bit of progress in between is just so annoying.

message 627: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Carlena wrote: "That's stupid! When my cousin played sims 2 it froze a lot. I was like, I'll just stick with the original."

Ah that sucks. I have all 3. Just not all those damn stuff packs for sims 3. Just going for the EPs instead. I did love the fact the sims actually grew up and genetics transferred in 2 more so than in 3.

message 628: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments You guys are making me never want to play this game. Lol

message 629: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments ahaha! I love having control of someone else's life. That game is amazing for my self esteem

message 630: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments Lol my cousin always said "I like playing god." Lol. I liked killin people in a house fire and having the ghosty walk around.

message 631: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments LOL, I know right? I definitely love the creating and controlling the sims than doing all the building stuff other people are into. Gotta be working with the people in one way or another.

message 632: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments My fav is the building and decorating. Favoritest thing EVA!

message 633: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

And ghosties are so much more in sims 3. Electrocution, drowning, starvation, etc. Did you see the new one for shark attack and the like Shari? I'm pretty excited for Island Paradise. Mermaids and talking to sharks and the like.

message 634: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments MERMAIDS!!??

message 635: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments I've seen the one with the mermaids but I don't think Ive seen the shark attacks. I gotta look that up on youtube

message 636: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Yep, mermaids the new occult creature. Already have vamps, werewolves, the ghost, aliens, fairies, witches, plant sims, zombies (of a sort), and genies.

message 637: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments Ahhhh love it!

message 638: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Yea, someone posted a pic of the ghosts from Island Paradise. I think they had a video too. I'll see if I can copy it over here.

message 639: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

message 643: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 1747 comments what's the question for today? sorry if i passed it by overlooking LOL but i can't seem to find it e.e.

message 644: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Here's the current question-

What is the most annoying debate or argument you have ever had in a online forum? What was the topic? Did you feel like you accomplished anything? Able to change a few opinions? Or was it just one big frustrationfest?

We've been having a real gabfest around here. Always welcome to jump in anytime Jennifer. :)

message 645: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 1747 comments Lol thanks ^.^.

A long time ago, in my younger teen years it would of been over religion. ppl were disrespecting each other all bc they weren't the same religion as one another. At the end of it all I wrote a long response on it and i "think" things when quiet after that but i'm not 100% sure.

Haha, thanks.

message 646: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments No prob. And that is unfortunate that religion can still get people so up in arms. But it's why I tune my dad out. I don't want to be part of things where he feels he is more superior than others just cause he believes one thing over another. I give you mad props for writing something and trying to make a difference.

message 647: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 1747 comments Thanks, hopefully it did. It was various religions, christian among other ones. it's silly how ppl can condemn someone just bc they have a different belief O_O. as long as someone isn't hurting their own self or any other ppl then it shouldnt be a major issue, imo anyways.

message 648: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Indeed. But some people are so narrow minded it is not even close to funny at times. Best thing can hope and pray for them to say the least.

message 649: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 1747 comments i know right

message 650: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments What are the 3 biggest goals you wish to achieve before your next bday? And if your bday has already come and gone, have you accomplished any of the goals? Made new ones? Or even chucked ones that weren't working?
