I do apologize to all of you. Now I see how you felt yesterday when you logged on after few hours and found pages of Blacky and me exchanging spoilers. :D
I'm still at my 46%, maybe little more, but not far.
I'm finally home and in a mood for little Thornton.

"Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again"
Ah I love a good Gothic Tale :)

I can take it all as long as there's a happy end, that's why i don't watch Withering Heights :((( EVER :("

Hi Tea, it's actually fun going back & looking for your spoilers after I get to that spot. And love that we're a chatty bunch :) Enjoy more of Mr. Thornton! I'm off to lunch.

I had few more spoilers last night, but I was at the part that was really, really full of things to put here. If I did it, I would practically copy/paste whole chapter :)
You'll know what I mean when you get there :D

I can take it all as long as there's a happy end, that's why i don't watch Withering Heights :((( EVER :("

I love Wuthering Heights too...although I haven't seen the newer version. Have you read Rebecca, Ruth?

Boo to work! I highlighted that too. From here on out, there are tons of quotables!

i I didn't really like Wuthering Heights, never really felt the characters. Who's Rebecca by?

Have you heard the line "Last night I dreamed I went to Manderly again..."? That's the first lie of the book.

Isn't that song by Robbie Williams? :D
I'm ashamed to say I haven't heard that line before. I did heard about Rebecca, few characters in book were reading it. It never crossed my mind to check it out. :)

Its crazy because I'm fairly certain that I read it when I was in high school, bu that was like thirteen years ago. The plot is very familiar.
Idk about Robbie Williams though, lol!

Robbie Williams :D"
I had never heard that song! I think that Manderly is the name of the estate in the book.
And sorry about the idk :( I need to remember to stop using text slang.

As long as google understands it, I have no problem with it. :) Use whatever you want. I'm learning new language here :D

the opening is part of the episode and the closing credits last about a minute TOPS. But it's no wonder, I know that often the BBC shows are shorter in America, don't know why they do it :(

Anyway, Cathy you're right at the good part!!!!!!!
Tea what slow boring part??????
I'll read more tomorrow, but I'm still at about 65%

Still at a snails pace ----
Quote :'The mother of whom he spoke to us?' said Margaret.
'Mrs. Thornton; the only mother he has, I believe,' said Mr. Hale quietly.

<3 Yes I know, FINALLY!!!!! :DDDDDDD I hope I'll finish the book today, I'm at 76% now :)

All day long, my eyes were literally glued to the pages, so excited was I to learn more about Margaret's new life in Milton. At some point, my friends had to yell at me to get my attention, they asked me why I was "wasting my time reading classic literature when I should be reading The Economist or The NY Times" (we are majoring in finance). So I told them with a great sense of pride that North and South deals with many subjects that we are actually studying in Economic History, such as the effects of industrialization and the relations between employers and workers... Before I knew it, I was shaking the book in front of their faces and demanding that they read it, if not for leisure, at least for study purposes :D
This book is both instructive and so much enjoyable. Who wouldn't want to read it?!
End of tirade. (for now :p)

Glad you're loving it :)
their conversation at 28% about the relation between mill owners and workers is making my head spin !!!!!

Glad you're loving it :)"
I am sooo enjoying this book Blacky! At this rate, I might finish it way sooner than I thought :DDD

I read this conversation not an hour ago, I find it interesting! I had to read it twice though xD
It is interesting , I just meant that it is a bit complicated and needed to be read again and again by me !
