Duchess Nicole Seriously awkward....lol! That whole situation (view spoiler) is just odd...Like you know she's just not meant to be there.

Cathy M. She's not the same person so things she previously enjoyed don't have as much meaning anymore. Had to stop to give my cat a bath but am starting again now!

*peeks in*

Good morning people and thanks for the luck :D:D

*goes away to get ready*

Cathy M. Morning Karen! Don't start on GR or you won't stop! Ok after spending the last 2 hours going through my feed, I seriously need to stop & read the rest of N&S!

Gr is how I survive my tuitions sweetie ! Don't take that away for me *big sigh*

Go read!!!

Cathy M. Haha can't take away whatever helps you survive! :) I know, just had to check the Consequences group since I haven't since yesterday. Am going now!

Cathy M. Now at 94% (view spoiler) Finishing now! :)

Duchess Nicole My tummy's all aflutter for you!! I finished the miniseries tonight. Such a gorgeous story!

Cathy M. Oh yay Nicole! So now that you read & watched it, did the series do the book justice? I'm finishing this and hope to start the series tonight :) at least have to watch the 1st episode.

Duchess Nicole I think the series is better, which is opposite of what I usually think. But to be able to see the emotion made it easier to understand. I empathized with Margaret more, but the series made me SERIoUSLY fall in love with Thornton!

Cathy M. Awesome! That's what I can't wait for. I just keep thinking of the gifs Tea and Blacky posted earlier and I'm already swooning

❀Tea❀ Cathy wrote: "Awesome! That's what I can't wait for. I just keep thinking of the gifs Tea and Blacky posted earlier and I'm already swooning"

It's definitely swoon worthy :)
I watched last night Lost in Austen. And managed to squeeze only first N&S before I fall asleep. Good think I know it by heart. :)

Cathy M. Finished whew! But...(view spoiler)

How was Lost in Austenland Tea? I remember it being mentioned earlier on. Is that the time/book travel one?

You're not the only one. We all said the same thing. (view spoiler)

Cathy wrote: "How was Lost in Austenland Tea? I remember it being mentioned earlier on. Is that the time/book travel one?"

It was great. I was laughing like mad. Luckily my roommates went to the movies so I was alone. Yes, it's book/time travel one. She's reading P&P and ends up in it instead of Elizabeth. (view spoiler)

Have you all finished the series also ?

I'm finally home and about to read the last 75 pages :D:D

Cathy M. See I really need to read more of the classics because I don't know who that is :( it's my mission this year to read more of them. Next up is P&P because all of you seem to love it so much!

❀Tea❀ Karen wrote: "Have you all finished the series also?"

It is to me. Keira ruined Elizabeth for me.
Now, Colin Firth...
(view spoiler)

Cathy M. You liked? He has such a charm about him, I really love him in everything he does :D

Quote :'Where she had suffered so much.' Alas! and that was the way in which this eighteen months in Milton to him so unspeakably precious, down to its very bitterness, which was worth all the rest of life's sweetness would be remembered. Neither loss of father, nor loss of mother, dear as she was to Mr. Thornton, could have poisoned the remembrance of the weeks, the days, the hours, when a walk of two miles, every step of which was pleasant, as it brought him nearer and nearer to her, took him to her sweet presence every step of which was rich, as each recurring moment that bore him away from her made him recall some fresh grace in her demeanour, or pleasant pungency in her character. Yes! whatever had happened to him, external to his relation to her, he could never have spoken of that time, when he could have seen her every day when he had her within his grasp, as it were as a time of suffering. It had been a royal time of luxury to him, with all its stings and contumelies, compared to the poverty that crept round and clipped the anticipation of the future down to sordid fact, and life without an atmosphere of either hope or fear.

:(:(:(

Cathy M. BBC seems to always have the best! I'll see if the BBC series is on Netflix so I can watch it. If not I'll check the video store. But I think I'll wait until I read the book.

It's already 2 so I think I'll log off for tonight. Enjoy the rest of the book Karen! I'm going to try to finish this 1st episode and head to bed. Good night!

Quote :And at the remembrance of her taunting words, his brow grew stern, though his heart beat thick with longing love. 'No!' said he, 'I put it to the touch once, and I lost it all. Let her go,âwith her stony heart, and her beauty;âhow set and terrible her look is now, for all her loveliness of feature! She is afraid I shall speak what will require some stern repression. Let her go. Beauty and heiress as she may be, she will find it hard to meet with a truer heart than mine. Let her go!'

Was this where the look at me took place?

❀Tea❀ I'm not telling you :)
Read it and watch it :D
