My record crying was while reading
. I was holding on, but at one point something triggered it and I couldn't stop crying. It was summer, so I stopped reading for few days until my roommates went to seaside and I was alone at home.I need to read that one again :)

Yeah and I never cry in RL :( I just toughen it out, can't remember the last time I cried actually (that wasn't induced by a book or movie). Maybe that's why it hits me too much :SSSSSS

As far as I know Northanger Abbey & Persuasion are movies. Rest of them are series (and movies). Don't remember Mansfield Park, actually.
S&S and Emma even have few series with different casting.
If you want to watch period drama, there are Cranford and Wifes & Daughters by Gaskell. And Tess of the d'Urbervilles was OK
Mansfield Park has two movies, Persuasion has two, I've seen the older one and it's amazing too, Emma has two series and a movie I think, S&S has a movie and a series and P&P has two or three series and three movies if I'm not wrong?Anyway... LOTS!!!!!!!
But definitely try Lost in Austen :) great!

Hi guys, tissues! I need tissues!! I DID NOT see that coming!! Just got to that scene as I was eating so no worries ;) oh my god, SO SAD!! I'm totally down for future classic books buddy reads. It DOES make it more fun to read! And I'm a total cry baby too, I'm a big softie and cry at everything. Just read Reluctant Dom recently and sobbed for hours! You guys gave me a lot of books to add to my TBR pile. Thank you, I love the emotional stuff! I think it's also a testament of how well the author writes to cause that reaction.
OMG I've had that Reluctant Dom in my TBR for ages, and I'm scared to pick it up :((((((Oh Cathy :((((( yes that was a blow :((( lots of those in this book :((((

Well I was thinking that if we are going to make a regular thing of reading classics in Buddy reads, it would be convenient to do it there. I can set up threads ahead of time too, in case others want to join. Just a thought.

I think Reluctant Dom was really good. I loved the relationship between the 2 guys the most (it's not romantic but their friendship) but not the BDSM aspect as much. 84%(view spoiler)
Oh gosh "happy for now" endings really bother me because I always feel like its not complete. I want that resolve! (Sorry i'm jumping around with the comments because i'm re-reading through all the comments)
