Michael (lovechild) | 280 comments So Finished
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald and then followed it up with A Hologram for the King by Dave Eggers and tonight finished Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury It been one wonderful read after another with so much to ponder. These stories are going to stay with me for a long time.

Tonight I am going to jump back in to Dave Eggers and start

A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers and then Follow that up with A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin that should keep me happy.

Lianne (liannevanroekel) I just finished Ender's Game. My first real acquaintance with the genre science-fiction has been quite overwhelming. The story is so well-thought-out I couldn't put the book down. If I hadn't read many other books at the same time I would have finished reading days ago. I especially liked the psychological aspect of the story. The teachers have dilemmas how far they can push Ender and Ender has dilemmas how to deal with the challenges he's facing. There's so much dept to the story that I'm really quite overwhelmed by it. I think it's about time I read more sci-fi. I would definitely recommend this book, even to those who never read sci-fi.

Sara (agilepem) Just started, and am having a lot of trouble putting down, book one of the Chaos Walking series "The Knife of Never Letting Go" by Patrick Ness. It started out like "Riddley Walker," with some grammatical misspellings that put me off, but about ten pages later, I was completely hooked. It is great!

Lyssa I'm currently reading two series, "A Song of Ice and Fire", and "The Green Rider" series. The Green Rider I would recommend to lovers of YA Fantasy and Adventure. You will not regret it! A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin is a bit... vivid in certain areas, but an excellent read if you're into intrigue. Definitely two series on my favorites shelf.

Yes Lamya do read [bookcover:Ready Player One|9969571] it is a great escape novel. You can see that almost from the start that it was written to be made in to a movie but still it was fun. =)

Leiah Cooper (leiahingolden) | 8 comments Just finished Glacial Eyes by J.K. Walker. It is the first of a series and I am impressed! His main character, Jazz, is highly believable and the supernatural world he creates is one of the better out there in my opinion.

Also, if you like Urban Fantasy with a kick-butt heroine that isn't too far over the top, as with so many other UF series, you HAVE to read Sleight of Hand. Awesome doesn't begin to describe it!

Liana Goode (liana_goode) | 21 comments Hey everyone I'm reading Love’s Will, by Meredith Whitford. Shakespeare in love. And it's free at the moment: http://amzn.to/11q8n9a
It's an interesting and insightful read, definitely worth downloading.
Here's the blurb:
Anne Hathaway is a headstrong 26 year-old woman.

But when she meets a man eight years her junior her life changes dramatically.

Will Shakespeare is no ordinary Stratford lad.

His head is full of poetry, and big dreams of success on the London stage.

But after a whirlwind romance, Anne falls pregnant and Will finds himself tied down to a life he doesn't want.

Desperate to fulfil his dreams he eventually saves enough to move to London.

Pining for her love and bored of her provincial life, Anne follows him to the bustling city.

But the city of vice soon threatens the life they have built together.

And Anne finds herself caught up in a drama as intense as any that Will is penning for the theatre.

'Love's Will' is a brilliantly-researched romantic comedy that brings England's greatest playwright vividly to life. It combines historical detail with a moving story to create a book that is both informative and entertaining.

'Beautiful, witty, insightful.' - Richard Foreman, best-selling author of 'A Hero Of Our Time.'

'An exciting and absorbing tale'- Brian Kavanagh,best-selling author of the Belinda Lawrence Mysteries.
