Hii just finished reading thousand splendid suns.. its ok.
i am planning to read only time will tell and other two books in the series.
I just finished Ender's Game. My first real acquaintance with the genre science-fiction has been quite overwhelming. The story is so well-thought-out I couldn't put the book down. If I hadn't read many other books at the same time I would have finished reading days ago. I especially liked the psychological aspect of the story. The teachers have dilemmas how far they can push Ender and Ender has dilemmas how to deal with the challenges he's facing. There's so much dept to the story that I'm really quite overwhelmed by it. I think it's about time I read more sci-fi. I would definitely recommend this book, even to those who never read sci-fi.
Just started, and am having a lot of trouble putting down, book one of the Chaos Walking series "The Knife of Never Letting Go" by Patrick Ness. It started out like "Riddley Walker," with some grammatical misspellings that put me off, but about ten pages later, I was completely hooked. It is great!
I just finished
and now I started
and later I'll start
. To the people who are reading
do you recommend it?
I'm currently reading Graceling. The book is nothing like I expected it to be from the cover and synopsis. I love the writing, the story, and the characters. I would definitely recommend it.
Nabhaswati wrote: "I am reading The Picture of Dorian Gray.Very nicely written, very witty. And full of awesome quotes."It's a wonderful piece of art. Enjoy it!
The divergent trilogy by veronica roth changed my perspective on reading. It's soo good that I don't think i'll ever forget it in a million years. The host was equally good and I'd recommend it !!! You don't know what your missing!Kelsey @ http://fictionplaylist.blogspot.ca
I'm currently reading two series, "A Song of Ice and Fire", and "The Green Rider" series. The Green Rider I would recommend to lovers of YA Fantasy and Adventure. You will not regret it! A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin is a bit... vivid in certain areas, but an excellent read if you're into intrigue. Definitely two series on my favorites shelf.
Lamya wrote: "I just finished

Nabhaswati wrote: "I am reading The Picture of Dorian Gray.Very nicely written, very witty. And full of awesome quotes."Nabhaswai, I saw you added
I have never read, but have read about Oscar Wilde and think that I might change up my next classic to read this also. =)
Currently reading Monstrous Beauty. And, I recommend Tiger Lily, which is my most absolute favourite book. Ever.

I hav..."Yes, Michael, i was meaning to read this for a long time. And Oscar Wilde writes like magic. Also, the book will also give you so much to think about. You can definitely give it a try sometime.:)
I'm storming through the Song of Ice & Fire series! Currently at the end of A Storm of Swords 1: Steel And Snow. Loved the first two books and this one just as much... eager to get through them!!
I read Divergent written by Veronica Roth yesterday and I really loved it ! You should read it too :)
Nicola wrote: "The Princess Bride - on a fantasy run after a Game of Thrones marathon :)"I first read Divergent back in September & I became obsessed!...even though Insurgent isn't as good...I feel like it was a little too rushed
Just finished Glacial Eyes by J.K. Walker. It is the first of a series and I am impressed! His main character, Jazz, is highly believable and the supernatural world he creates is one of the better out there in my opinion. Also, if you like Urban Fantasy with a kick-butt heroine that isn't too far over the top, as with so many other UF series, you HAVE to read Sleight of Hand. Awesome doesn't begin to describe it!
Hello. I am currently rereading the Eragon series. I am in the middle of eldest and plan to read them all again.
I am currently doing "Spring Cleaning," by catching up on all the manga series I have neglected since Nov/Dec. I am currently reading Chapter 850 of
& hope to get up to date on the series, which will be released over here as Vol. 81 by the end of today.
I am currently reading The Penultimate Peril
, Little Women
, Pleasure Island
, The Witching Hour
, The Count of Monte Cristo
, and Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt
. So far I am enjoying all of them.
Now I,m reading Black and Red
and steppenwolf
. Black and Red is very boring for me, the thing is that I have to read it to pass my exam, while Hermann Hesse is a real talant, Steppenwolf is very deep and interesting
I'm currently reading
(Walking Disaster by Jamie McGuire) and I am enjoying it :) It takes a bit of getting used to, reading from Travis' point of view, but it's good!!Next up, I'm reading
I read this book a long while back, but "Between Shades of Gray" is definitely a thought-provoking, wonderful book.
Julli wrote: "I'm currently reading Eat, Pray, Love. It's okay, I suppose. I'm excited to read the next book that I'm planning to read, not exactly sure which to pick though! The Kite Runner, the Lovely Bones, P..." I recommend you to read The Kite Runner, first;)
Duygu wrote: "I am currently reading "The Shadow of the Wind" . It's amazing..."I read it in the beginning of the year and it became one of my favorite. I already read the next book from the trilogy, which is The Angel's Game. It is good but not quite as perfect as The Shadow of the Wind.

I'm currently reading " Slaughterhouse Five" and "Reached" (the last in the Matched trilogy).... both are absolutely great and Slaughterhouse 5 is a must read!!
Hey everyone I'm reading Love’s Will, by Meredith Whitford. Shakespeare in love. And it's free at the moment: http://amzn.to/11q8n9a It's an interesting and insightful read, definitely worth downloading.
Here's the blurb:
Anne Hathaway is a headstrong 26 year-old woman.
But when she meets a man eight years her junior her life changes dramatically.
Will Shakespeare is no ordinary Stratford lad.
His head is full of poetry, and big dreams of success on the London stage.
But after a whirlwind romance, Anne falls pregnant and Will finds himself tied down to a life he doesn't want.
Desperate to fulfil his dreams he eventually saves enough to move to London.
Pining for her love and bored of her provincial life, Anne follows him to the bustling city.
But the city of vice soon threatens the life they have built together.
And Anne finds herself caught up in a drama as intense as any that Will is penning for the theatre.
'Love's Will' is a brilliantly-researched romantic comedy that brings England's greatest playwright vividly to life. It combines historical detail with a moving story to create a book that is both informative and entertaining.

I finished The Perks of Being a Wallflower last night and gave it four stars. I liked the quirkiness and the references to music/literature/movies. I really want to make an old school mixtape now! I'm looking forward to watching the movie.
