Yes, Daniel...get one. They are not too expensive and super to store novels on. I would only consider a Kindle. The service and the selection is the best!

@Daniel - I'm tempted to download it too even though I haven't had a chance to find out what it's about. Just because you went to Godzilla without me... :p
Daniel wrote: "Damn. I wish I had a Kindle now. I'm just going to sit here and listen to my Walkman and sulk."Daniel, do you have a tablet?
Ruth wrote: "The fact that Daniel (jokingly) still uses a Walkman cracks me up!"I loved my Walkmen. I burned thru at least 7-8 of those things when I was doing some major bike riding back in the 1990s.

Congrats Sean!! That is awesome. I am with Daniel and don't have a kindle. I just bought my kids one for the birthdays but I do have an iPad. Can you download it on there? I am an old fashioned person I guess. I would rather have the book in my hand but I can't wait to read it.

Do you mean like Moses?

You wish.
You can get the kindle app on pretty much all devices and PCs. Lets you do all the stuff the Kindle does as far as I'm aware.I have the app on my mobile, so in case I forget my Kindle, I can carry on reading on my phone as it syncs your progress.

Hahaha.

With your iPad, go to Amazon and find Sean's book. Tap on it. You have to use 1-click (a dangerous thing, really) to buy it so if you don't have that set up, do that thru "My Account". Right under 1-click see "Deliver to" and that should have "Sarah's ipad" or "Sarah's kindle cloud reader". It can be set on either. Click on 1-click. The next screen shows something about delivering it and I have it delivered to my cloud. There you go. As I say, dangerously easy!!!

OH--IMPORTANT P.S. Sarah, to do this, you have to download free Kindle App for iPad from the App Store if you haven't already.

Right now I am reading a lot of Linwood Barclay. I'm planning on starting the John Sandford series. I have started Natchez Burning by Greg Iles, but put it down. Just not in the mood for it. Love Chelsea Cain. I recently read The Headmaster's Wife and loved it.
Hope you'll like it here Sue!We are a crazy bunch, but most people think it's fun when you get used to it! ;)
Have to go back to reading proper books, ones that u have in my hand! Listening to audio books keeps sending me in to the land of nod.

A lot of people here love Chelsea Cain! I have her on my to read shelf. Sue, have you read any Karin Slaughter, SJ Bolton or Tess Gerritsen? They are 3 of my favs.

I've read all three, but only one of each authors books. I will look into reading more of them. I liked SJ Bolton the most out of the three you mentioned. Karin Slaughter was also good. I like Lisa Unger too.
I don't like romance or what I call "fluffy" books. I like thrillers with no tag along love stories. I really enjoyed the series by [author:Stieg Larsson|706255.

Yes I would. Which is why I asked. That's how questions work. Goofball.

Ahhhh Lol :)
Excellent! Here too! 26 degrees (C) today! In Norway! In May! Outrageous! Which is why I hid in the cool basement when I got home :)
@ Daniel - look at the weather subject from this perspective ... "pandas don't look for a place to sleep, they just sleep wherever they are".
@ DoodleePooo - Yep you can. Let's talk about did you go to the basement to sleep? OR did you just happen to be in the basement and you slept?
Let's talk about the government and how corrupt it is.
