Hi my name is Barbara. I am from southern Ontario Canada. I love reading thrillers with twists and turns that keep me guessing. I love the book (I'm thinking of ending things) and (defending Jacob) psycho thrillers, adventure thrillers, wilderness thrillers. It takes a lot of looking on internet, libraries and old bookstores to find that one great book I have been craving to read. Many books I find are a waist of time to read. I can't even trust reviews. Before I used to read a book to the end no matter what, well no more! So now if I amnot interested it's tossed. Forget it your gone and I write my review according to my thoughts on that particular book and most likely will never read another book by that author again. I guess I have become picky

Hello everyone! My name is Pete (Peter officially but I prefer Pete) Vielhaber, and I'm from the midwest. I've been lurking around for a few weeks checking things out. Big fan of thrillers, and history. As of today I have joined the ranks of being a published author, which sounds so bizarre to say (all my info is on my profile).
Looking forward to getting to know the crew here!

I've been a member of Good Reads for a while but haven't had the opportunity to get involved in any groups.

You're right - it's a thoroughly eclectic list. Just curious has to how you choose your books - Chinese Takeout with a little light National Geo?
Some of the items are rereads, like the Chinese takeout title. As to how I choose, basically I just browse, either the stacks at my library or the virtual stacks at the library website And as you can see from the "Welcome to the Family" URLs I give out, my taste in m,usic is as varied as my reading.Hi, Bridget. Your "Welcome tot he Family" URL is various artists: Kickass Classical Top 100 - Classical Music Best Famous Popular: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TflCx... I'm glad you like cookbooks. You might find some new ones if you check out my Reader Challenge list.
Howdy, my name is Donna and I live in MN. We just dug ourselves out of a blizzard straight from The Shining. I’m into movies, and books of many genres, although thrillers are my number one favorite generally speaking.
Hi, Donna. Your "Welcome tot he Family" URL is George Frederic Handel - The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TGKJ...
Hi. I have been a Goodreads author for years but never participated in the groups. I recently released my debut novel Slay the Dragon, a political suspense story (I hope some of you participated in my giveaway!). I am now exploring the Goodreads site (any suggestions?). I live in Manhattan and Southampton NY. I worked on Wall St for years. I have limited time to read as I am now attending a data science program at Harvard-- it's intriguing. I believe the theme of my next suspense novel will go 'digital'.
Hi. My name is Lisa and I live in Colorado. I work full time and due to that I have become quite an audiobook junkie! I listen to and from work and most of my day at work! I have made it through 31 audiobooks so far this year and currently on #32! I ALWAYS have one going! My favorite genre is crime/thrillers series, with a particular like for British crime series! I am currently listening to the Shaye Archer series by Jana Deleon. I just "found" this author and am on book 2 and really enjoying them!

Hello good people,I hope everyone is having a good week. I know Mondays can be tough for a lot of us, but hey, each day is but what we make of it.
I'm a former IT professional, currently a business school student from India. I recently self-published my first crime-fantasy thriller Wrathful Wings. It's about a father who, on the brink of uncovering the conspiracy behind a series of deaths, has to make the hardest choice of his life.
It's my first book and honestly I wasn't even sure if it'll see the light of the day. But since I have to go away to college soon, I decided to self publish it on Amazon without further ado. Do support me by getting yourselves a copy and leaving a review if you like it.
Hi, N.V. Your "Welcome to the Family" URL is Hanggai - The Rising Sun / 初生的太阳 汉语字幕版: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Khkeq...
Hi everyone. I'm a compulsive reader - mostly thrillers, although I sometimes switch to a romance to counteract some of the darkness! There are so many good books around at the moment it's hard to decide what to read next - that's why I like to read reviews - narrows down the options. It's great to connect with others who have a passion for the same sort of books. I am also a debut author, writing psychological thrillers, first one out in August.
Hi, Rona. I don lt have my headphones today, so you'll get your "Welcome to the Family" URL tomorrow.
Rona, as promised yesterday, here's your "Welcome to the Family" URL: On the witch-king's ridiculously large mace: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAO4t...
