What are you reading? (part drei)
First wanted to say I'm jealous of those who have already finished
but I'm pleased to say that I've made some good progress in it myself this weekend. I gave up on
because it really wasn't catching my interest and
became available at my library for my kindle so I'm reading that now instead.
I finished
and really liked it although i might have to do a re-read once work calms down because I felt a little lost in some spots due to me being tired when I was reading it. Now I'm going to dedicate more time to reading
Erica, don't forget to read the short in
first, its basically the first 70 pages of Cry Wolf. It also comes as an ebook or kindle.
Good call Sandra that short difference made such a huge difference. I wish she would just release it with the book.
It was crazy that she didn't from the beginning. I'm pretty sure that the A&O in the anthology started out being just a shortie then turned into a novel.

I went to a signing for Briggs and in it she basically said that. She also mentioned that if she planned to write a full book she would have made the last sentence different so the book would have been easier to start.

and am having a hard time with it because i'm confused and I feel lost. But now that I saw this it will help. I went on to Amazon and saw that there is an ebook special of just that short story for $2.99 so i bought it. So I'm putting a pause on Cry Wolf and going to read the short and see if that helps. Thanks again for the tip.
Ok I've finished a bunch recently.
,
,
,
,
,
, and
. Enjoyed them all to varying degrees. Have started
and
.
I just finished
and
both of which I really liked. Started
on audio. I'm only about four chapters in but enjoying it so far.
LastBreath wrote: "Question: When does PNR, or UF, become erotica?"Guess that depends on the reader. I know some people that think Fifty Shades is scandalous and some that think it is tame fluff.
Finished
and enjoyed it. I'm in the middle of
but I just got an email saying that
and
that I've had on hold are both available for my kindle from the library. So I'm going to try to read those two before I have to return them and go back on the hold list. So yeah i have some serious reading to get done.
LastBreath wrote: "Question: When does PNR, or UF, become erotica?"Right!! I mean why can't everyone just stay in their lane? I am cool with Paranormal erotica but please tell me before I buy the book.
Almost done with
and gave
a try but gave it up because I couldn't understand what was going on and therefore I couldn't get into it. Next on my list is

It's one of those series I've been meaning to try forever. I really enjoyed it."I'm interested to see how you feel as the series goes on.

While I was reading it I glanced ahead at the future books (mostly cuz I was trying to figure out if the fbi agent or the demon lord was going to turn out to be the good guy) and I saw the ratings really go down on the last few. I'm just going to buy them one at a time and see how they go.
I actually just got an ARC of the author's
My fingers are crossed that she did in fact get her groove back cuz this series has declined each book for me. I've been listening to book three on audio for MONTHS & haven't cared enough to finish.
I've got
to read but I keep putting it off, just cause I didn't like what happened in the last book. I need to put on the big girl panties and just read it.
Alisa wrote: "I'm just going to buy them one at a time and see how they go."I hate to say it, but see if you can go the library route. That way you are only out time, not money.

Well darn. What book do they start going down? Should I just stop while I'm ahead?
I love Stormwalkers, so different from everything else. Haven't tried the other series, but I've seen mixed reviews of it.
Alisa wrote: "Should I just stop while I'm ahead?"No, its a very interesting dark world, you'll like it. Go the library way if you can, if you have doubts. And don't check out the books later, it'll put you off unnecessarily.
Alisa wrote: "Well darn. What book do they start going down? Should I just stop while I'm ahead?"For me, it was with book 5, but give them a try, you might not feel the same way about them.
