I love unwind. absolutely awesome book. I wasn't a fan of 5th wave either.

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) Under the Never Sky is really good. Confusing on some terms used in the novel. The sequel was way better. :)

I didn't like Article 5 either. I haven't read The 5th Wave or Seraphina. Unwind was awesome and I like the Darkest Powers books too. Have you also read Darkness Rising by the same author?

I know. Everyone else loves it! But it drove me crazy that Aria and Perry were called 4 different names each throughout the book. I also pictured Perry as much older than Aria, so it was just awkward to me. And like I already said, I found most of the novel dull. It just wasn't my cup of tea.

Lol yes, there are a lot of nicknames.

message 2809: by Beatrice (new)

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) @ Jalyn - I was confused with terms used in Under the Never Sky too. I just don't get it at first and I am trying to figure it out. lol

Lot of nicknames made me confuse at first as well.

I actually like the Darkness Rising series better, but I still haven't read the last book and I really need to because there will be characters from both series in it!

Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments Has anybody bought any books from bookcloseouts.com? I'm wondering if these books have a black lines on the pages. Does anybody know? I hate when they do that, it feels like vandalism to me. I was just wondering because the prices are really good, but I don't want to buy the books if they've been drawn on (I don't mean drawn in. I mean the line they draw on the bottom of the book when it's a bargain book).

I got a hair cut last month and just like you it used to be past my hips and now above my shoulders. After a day I was kind of regret it but then I gave my hair for charity. So I think it was a bright side of my hair cut, now I don't regret it because my head feel lighter :D

Isn't it amazing when they excited and happy just because of hair? I mean before I gave it, never thought it would make any difference but then I saw they face when they knew that my hair is straight jet black, it's priceless. They said it's kind of rare to have it. I only did it 2 times but surely want to do it again in the future :)

My hair used to be extremely long when I was in high school. I kept it long until right after my wedding and then my little cousin (her hair was extremely long too) and I had our hair cut to our shoulders and donated what was cut off. It was fun. My aunt has a picture somewhere of us holding our hair that was cut off.

Your head does feel a lot lighter when you cut off that much hair. Have you brushed it yet and continued past where you cut it because you're used to long hair? Or used way too much shampoo to wash your hair because you used to need a lot more? It took me a while to remember that I didn't need so much shampoo and that my hair stopped a lot sooner than it used to. Lol :D

Neither of those are my favorites, but the guys my hubby works with have been asking him to get me to make some for them, so I did. I love cream cheese frosting! The last few times I made red velvet cakes they were awful though because you can only get 'natural' red food colouring over here now, and it tastes like beetroot and paprika. yuck!

Magnus Bane is gorgeous, but I think he wasn't able to get the character.
