Don't worry, you adapt! I always said I was too selfish to have kids, but you just naturally adapt, I would never have believed it to be honest! I'm not having more though, one is enough drama for me!

Jonababez | 2453 comments Thanks to everyone, I'm really happy with my new dog. But I wasn't able to reply because I was out the whole day yesterday, she got sick. Yeah, it was so soon. I had to bring her to the vet clinic. She's now ok, thank God. I was so worried.

Anyway, the Sea of Monsters movie is really good, better than the first, though it seems that they didn't get Tyson right. LOL!

Hershey is a nice place to visit, but if you got lost in Harrisburg at night then yeah, that would have been scary! My hubby and I went camping outside of Harrisburg years ago (for a mini honeymoon) and we went to the capital building and Hershey Park. It was a lot of fun, but we got lost on our way home from the capital building and it was frustrating. We had to stop for directions.

I LOVE that show! I agree though about the top ten...not as good as I expected. My friend and I are thinking about auditioning in the future. We'll see if we make it in lol

Seriously? It's like a really bad fan made trailer. No offense to fan made trailers.
I am going to cry,if they ruin the movie.VA's my favourite series.

And we cant judge the movie by its book because there cannot be a movie that is better or as good as the book.

Just had someone leave a freaking essay as a comment on one of my reviews on amazon, because she liked the book and I didn't! Am I not entitled to my own opinion?

message 2634: by Tati (new)

Tati Woah! Just curious, which book was it? Some books seem to have a following, and they don't admit the possibility of someone disliking their beloved book

The Name On Your Wrist by Helen Hiorns
I'll admit that mine is the only negative review out of 8, but I really wasn't a fan.

message 2636: by Abi (new)

Abi (abi_gr) | 27659 comments So just because this person liked the book, it means we all have too?
What about when she doesn't like a book, that everyone loves?

message 2637: by Sarah Elizabeth (new)

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90920 comments Mod
She was really going for it. I didn't even bother to read everything she wrote cause it was ridiuclously long, and it was obvious she was just annoyed at me not liking it. I don't need a personal attack because I didn't like a book!

Actually it's a good trailer, but there's something odd with the walking thing. Oh btw, the one one who is playing Ozera is one good looking guy.

I'm afraid I left a similar response! Something along the lines of 'Ranting because you don't agree with my opinion is very immature. I'm glad that you liked this book, but I'm entitled to my own opinion.'

My hubby and I used to watch it, but we started to get a little bored with it. I'm sure it has to be hard for the choreographers to top some of the really awesome routines they've done in the past, but when you can remember the amazing and/or beautiful routines, the rest can be kind of dull after a while.

I remember something similar happening to someone here on GR. She wrote a review and posted it here and then the author's agent went crazy under her review and posted some terrible comments. It was stupid on the agent's part because that girl has a lot of friends on GR that follow her reviews and comment all the time. The author probably lost a lot of potential readers from that.

Was that the agent for Kiera Cass?
I know her agent went all crazy over at twitter about her too.
It's quiet sad how bad her agent was at her job.
Being disrespectful to a reviewer, is a lot worse than one bad review.
She probably lost her 10x the buyers than what that one review did.

message 2647: by Jalyn (new)

Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments I didn't mind the VA trailer. I actually thought it looked pretty good, but then again, it's been a really long time since I read the books and since I've read a lot of books since then, I think I don't remember enough of the plot to be upset about the book-movie differences. I try to make it a point to stay away from reading or rereading a book before the movie comes out so that I'm not extremely disappointed. I had just read Twilight when I watched the movie and I was furious with how terribly it was done. I decided not to reread The Hunger Games last spring because I didn't want it to ruin the movie for me in the fall and that worked out well for me. I loved the movie :)

It was mainly on twitter. I found the convo on someones blog.
Then there was a convo between her and Kiera to get some friends to boost the ratings up / knock the reviewer down.
