Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments Ok, I found it, and yes, it was for The Selection! She posted snapshots of what was being said (and it was on twitter) and it was awful. They actually called her a b*tch!

I hate the other editions being at the bottom, they're so small!

I agree, though I do like having the "you might also like" books closer to the top. I always forgot to check those out when they were farther down the page.

It's currently just confusing me, I look for editions and find 'siege and storm' and I think - that's not the same book! It takes me a while to catch on ;)

Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments I'm about to attempt Jell-o cookies. Sounds weird, but I figured my kids will like how colorful they are :)

Haha :)
I keep scrolling my mouse over that way to find the other editions. I've click a different book twice today!

Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments The cookies are good, but the recipe doesn't work very well with sugar free jell-o. My boys love the regular ones :)

Tati I knooooow, Sarah, it's so sad!

I could buy all the stuff, but then I'd have to leave it here when I leave in September, and I don't really have the space to store it.

I baked at uni. I bought some cheap scales from poundland, and a baking tray, and make a lot of cookies by hand without an electric whisk. Hard work, but totally worth it ☺

Greta (goodreadsgreta) | 4545 comments i ordered a rug from Overstock, and it came in the mail today. It smells strongly of moth balls! I didn't even take it all the way out of the packaging, cause the smell was so strong. I just read that it can take a month to get rid of the smell and that you should air it out in the sun. AHHH! what to do? I hate any kind of chemical smell! I 'm super sensitive to it, and i get headaches quickly. i think it would be like 100 bucks to ship it back :(

I enjoyed the movie though as usual, not every scene in the book are in the movie. Those scenes are kind of what I'm waiting for since I was quite hard imagining it.

That's what I thought Beatrice, I can't picture him as Batman and no way compare him to Christian Bale.

message 2689: by Beatrice (new)

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) It's not that he doesn't fit. I mean, he is old for the role and we need some fresh faces. Christian Bale is way better.

message 2690: by Rachmi (new)

Rachmi | 4882 comments Agree with you, it doesn't mean that he doesn't fit but I don't mind with the age of the actor. I mean, I personally didn't think that he is old for the role but I don't know I never thought him as Batman. Well...we have to wait and see then :D

Beatrice, I can't open the link to Divergent Teaser :( What do you think of it?

Nabanita (nabanitamitra) | 24 comments Hey guy i kind of have a problem.
I just bought a new tablet ( coz my dad "accidentally" cracked my old ebook reader..)and now i cant read some of the books.
1.i cant open any epub books on my tablet. i need to d/load a new app to read them, but all the apps i find on google play gives me option to 'install' the app. but i need to d/load the app on my pc, then transfer them to my tablet. (coz my tablet doesn't have internet access) i cant find any app that has the 'download to pc' option.
2. i can open and read some of the PDF books, but most of them are pretty weird. I mean, the alphabets are upside down..!!!
and now i dont know what to do.. :(
