My first thought is....run.Head for the cabin we thought was ours and hope our stuff it there...space travel in our underwear without weapons or armor puts us at a disadvantage. Then we see if we can gather some of the other passengers and see if we can contact the ship itself. Come to think of it I haven't seen a single Repair Drone since we got here. Something ain't right there either.

I need to get out of this dress that is for sure...and you're the only one running in his underwear. *giggles them shoves the door open to see everything was still there* oh thank goodness all of our stuff is still here. *quickly takes off the dress and puts on the gift from Eliza then threw on some other Steampunk styled clothes that was also in the crate* ooo me likie!
Eliza is known for her individual taste... pulls on spare shirt, jeans and boots while arming. Over shirt puts on armored vest pack...then pulls on favorite black sport coat, the one with the iron on patches over the bullet holes and blast burn rents Hey, it's my favorite lucky jacket.So...think we can contact the bonded pilot or do you think he may be in with the Peacekeepers?
**** rather loud bangs, crackles, and other noises are heard outside door *****
*jumps at the sounds and faces the door, arm points at it with a blaster attached to it* I don't know but we have it try to talk to the pilot..if not just to find out which side he is on. *finishes grabbing my weapons and strapping them to my body* Ready?
Whenever you are...locked and loaded so to speak. Wish I could take my sniper rifle, but I suppose it's a bit bulky, I'll just go with these...Hit the door switch and drop to one side I'll cover the door till we see what's out there.
Oh here! These work great! *tosses you a rifle on an arm band* it's a cross between a rifle and machine gun.
Thanks...but I'll use these pulls long pistols with ebony grips and an ebony forestock from a holsters on each hip Made special for me by an Elder Weaponsmith along with the smaller one I have in a shoulder holster and the assault carbine I have on my back. It's why I'm leaving the sniper rifle...it's just too bulky with the other stuff. Besides, these all use the same ammo...it's explosive and armor-piercing:)
Okay *straps on the gun to my other arm* Let's get... *the door blows up, sending me flying backwards into the opposite wall*
smoke, some flames, a couple of forms outside the door. Four figures in robes run past the door...carrying short "sticks" in their hands Uhhhh...who was that? Do they look familiar to you?
*doesn't answer, laying unconscious on the ground*
Crap...again. checks vitals****splashes face with water. then shoots figure with blaster that was running past door and tried to turn into room. Short firefight follows. Only 3 armored figures involved and they go down quickly. Checks them and turns back to check condition.
*groans and eyes flutter open* Ow...what happened? And who are you? Please don't hurt me...
Oh good grief...we don't have time for this what in the world????? * splashes clothes with water to be sure they're not "wired". Double checks corridor and fires a few shots to hold Peacekeepers away from door...looks back to check for smoke and check Lacey's condition. *
*wipes face* why did you do that? Now I'm all wet... *quickly stands* who are you shooting at? Can we go..whoever you are...this room feels like its closing on me
You're still have some kind of...psychological interference. * fires a few rounds up corridor* Peacekeepers up the corridor, not making any pretense of being anything but Peacekeepers. * BOOMs and flashes from other end of corridor, source is hidden by smoke * I don't know what's going on down there. Look check anything new you're wearing, I didn't find any circuits but I'm doing several things at once * fires again *
*looks down at my clothes then looks back at you* interference? What are you talking about? And you still never answered my question...who are you? And why is there people shooting at us? *gently touches the back of my head and looks down at my fingertips, blinking several times at the blood* Is that supposed to be there?!?

*drags you back from door, slams hand on control and code locks it...then pulls you back as far from door as possible, and examines head trauma.
This doesn't look that bad, but I wonder if there is an Eidelon nearby?
* Goes to "bathroom" comes out with water and pill

Yea you're Mike, my friend and traveling partner...why is there pieces of our door everywhere? And why does the back of my head ache?
I don't know what hit your head exactly. There's something really bad happening here and there are beings from a dozen races (at least) and several universes involved. Take another look at the "door". It's just a shape now. It..."healed up" while you were out. The door became part of the wall.And look in here * walks into bath area and points upward...there is now a round opening with a ladder descending from it to the floor. *
I think that's an invitation...maybe from the ship or pilot.
*follows you to the bathroom* Well I hope it's from a friendly. *grabs the ladder and begins to climb* sounds like they are right outside our door.
Yeah, * speaks while climbing* they, whoever they are, have been trying to blow a hole through for a while now. After the door sealed every time they punched through it healed up. That's why I think it's the ship.
Oh good! I really hope it is the ship. *keeps climbing* wow this is a long ladder. It feels like we are going almost to the top of the ship. And the ladder is enclosed in a tube so no one can see us. Yes it has to be the ship doing this.
I figured it would go through the superstructure...and look at that. A round hatch cover...with a doorbell????
*reaches up and presses it gently, a strange song ringing in our ears* wow! It is familiar..but what song is that?
Oh....I hear someone moving around up there. Mike, I'm getting nervous...should we go back down?
I don't know, it's a long way down and this is the only exit from the room... In for a penny in for a pound. Lets see who...or what it is. * gravity orientation changes and the wall becomes the floor. We're no longer hanging on a ladder but standing in front of a round door hatch that is now on a level with us, the ladder that we climbed up is still there but now it's over our head and extending along what is now, for us a ceiling.*

*places my hand on my stomach* ooohhh that didn't agree with my stomach too much. And yes I do but that could just be the voices of my characters in my head so not too sure. Umm the door is opening... *grabs your arm* What are we going to do?
...Say hello?At this point I'm just hoping they don't shoot at us. Also I'm beginning to suspect that the "nanobot pills" didn't just happen to get to us. It could be that the ship itself needs help.

*stands up straighter then lets out a startled gasp* Doctor?!?

*looks at you and giggles* yea you do. All at least we know that the person behind the door is a friend not a foe. Doctor, will you show us the way off of here? Or something..I'm not liking how close those shots are sounding now.
Wait...over there beyond all those DRDs...and the TARDIS of course. Is that a baby Leviathan? No wonder we hadn't seen any DRDs they're protecting the baby ship. So all these invaders, they must be after control of the ship itself!Well that or I just jumped to a bunch of wrong conclusions and the TARDIS is just here to visit another sentient ship.
And why is the Doctor's scarf so long?
I think he got carried away making it for his adventures to the colder areas. And I think you might be right. Oh the baby is so cute! *walks over to the baby ship and tickles it a little*
Uhhhh....Lacey.....be careful. I think you're making the DRDs a bit, nervous. They take protecting the young one seriously.
Don't worry...they can tell I'm not going to hurt the baby. Aaa I wonder if its a boy or a girl. They really are cute as babies, aren't they? *gently picks up the baby ship and cradles it in my arms* I think it's trying to suck on my shoulder. *laughs*
It looks a little different... You don't suppose it's another attempt at a hybrid do you? You know, like the Peacekeepers tried before?
*looks at the baby closer* I think you might be right...I see strange looking eyes but I can't place the animal and it looks like it has feathers?
Great. You know most of the hybrids are for war and don't do well. The Peacekeepers set up a Leviathan breeding program but it never went well. Lets look around I think we need to help the ship and probably the pilot get free before the baby ship births into space. It'll probably sprout gun turrets or something and the Peacekeepers will take it over.Check and see what the Dr.'s here for and let me look around and see what else is in here. Hopefully we can contact the pilot.
*cradles the baby ship* okay .. *heads over to the Doctor and begins to talk to him in a hushed voice gently rocking the baby ship in my arms, the baby ship soon asleep*
Monitors....lots of monitors....hummm well, look at this.
*glances nervously towards the door and shudders as the sounds of guns begin to get closer*
Look at this. We've got all these monitors. There are other people here the ship seems to have, isolated. Looks like several compartments where people (so to speak) have been sealed in away from the ones running around with guns...and they're not all Peacekeepers.And look. The ship just opened one area to vacuum and dumped about a dozen...somethings. They're gone and I didn't get a good look.
Now, where does that hatch at the other end of the room go? Did the Dr. tell you anything?
*moves away from the Doctor* Yes he said the hatch will latke us to the pilot who is being held hostage two compartments over from where we are. The ship wasn't able to isolate him fast enough. He also said that the Peacekeepers didn't make the baby...the ship actually made the baby by mating with another ship and that the ship won't have guns but the Peacekeepers don't know this or won't believe it or whatever. This baby would just be a passenger ship with no guns and because it will have no guns no one will want to attack it, though it will have some defense mechanisms just in case pirates get the idea to get on board but we don't know what they are just yet since she is so young. Yes it's a girl...And the ship is disposing of the Peacekeepers and whoever else has guns...notice how it suddenly went quiet outside our doors?
Good idea... There seem to be a few of the attackers well inside so that could be a problem. And look at these people. *points to monitors one at a time* These really do look like magical types, Can't tell but that may be The Harry Potter 4. And here these people are in battle armor and holding off the Peacekeepers, they look like a mix however maybe from several realities. Here we've got people who look like Elves and not far away Eldars who are thought to be the descendants of an Elf like race in the 40K Universe. And here These, these and these all what humans would call, completely alien. There are even several insectoid races here.Like we've said, something odd is going on here.
Well I guess we can worry about that later. So, are we being asked to free the pilot? I can see where the ship would need help and be in pain as I assume that the pilot and ship are bonded.
