...okay. You know how big our ship is???? Well we're beside one that looks to around 50 times that large and based on the readings I'm getting the power is off any scale we're equipped to measure. There are parts of the ship that look as though the core is either unshielded or at least leaking radiation into parts of the ship's interior. This thing is big, nasty and powerful.
We got out of hyperspace safely...so to speak.
Well that is good news. I heard of a ship exploding once they got out of hyperspace. But anyways that doesn't tell us where Riddick is...you don't think he is on that ship, do you?
.....* raises left eyebrow and looks at you quizzically *Of course I think he's on that ship...what kind of universe would it be if things were easy?
*checks my weapons and mumbles* a perfect one...*looks at you* All right how do we board on that thing? Lots go get Riddick...this is really allowing Doom to get even farther away.
Unless of course he's on this ship.Well, as I see it we have 2 choices. We drop the shields and hope they transport us over like they did Riddick, into their dungeons or whatever...or we go to the shuttle bay and see if there's anything on board that we can use to smash our way onto their shuttle deck.
Of course that's assuming we didn't overlook a transporter when we searched the ship.
I don't know what to do...I don't want to get locked up because then how are we supposed to save Riddick and on the other hand I don't want to smash out way in because we could get shot on the spot and again won't be able to save him. You decide! I don't know....
Well, first lets open that compartment we found locked. He may have something in there that will help they'll probably start trying to break the shields sooner or later...* Ship suddenly lurches to one side and we both have to grab a seat back to stay upright *
Oh, okay we don't have to worry about them taking down our shields and transporting us off...they're tractor beam is dragging the entire ship into a landing bay.
Yeah I think we better short out the lock and see what Riddick has stashed in there.
*chews in my lower lip* if they are dragging us in them that means they don't know we are here. I know that there is a hiding place and we can fool them...you know pull a Han Solo trick.*knocks on the locked door* and as for this I say we blow it....maybe there are more weapons in there we can use. Do you have anything that we can blow it with?
Wait we may not need to. * Pops cover of locking key pad and pulls small jumper wires from belt pouch...examines circuitry connects 2 wires...***sparks a bit of smoke****...door slides open. *
I used to travel with a group of adventurers that included a skilled rogue. Not a skill a paladin uses often but it come in handy now and then.
* Lights in formerly locked room come on automatically *

*peers over your shoulder* Was I right? Are there more weapons in there?
Among other things...* looks carefully around for any traps etc. and steps inside what is obviously Riddick's treasury and armory * Humm, possibly the results of his...activities, you think?????
*follows timidly behind you* Wow! I would say so. We better lock this up tight so whoever is on the ship can't get a hold of all of this. Maybe set up some traps which I am surprised are none. Unless you deactivated them all when you blew the system.
Well we have maybe an hour before we're inside their bay. Let's see if we can find anything we need and then we'll weld the door closed and leave a couple of nasty surprises by the door. Then we can get into those smuggling holds and hope we'll go unnoticed when the search the ship.
*goes through the weapons and grabs a few more knives, hiding them in my boots and other places* love the knives...Okay what are you going to get?
Same....nice selection of throwers. I've got my own various Bowie types... Oh, nice shotgun. Let's see can I...yes. * straps on shotgun sheath that crosses sword sheath on back. *Oh, look at this...Romulan explosives.
Only take what you can carry...we don't want to be bogged down with too many weapons. Though that bow and arrow look beautiful! Wait a minute...isn't that a card with my name on it?
* Looks closely* Humm yes...was your birthday recent?
No...my birthday isn't until July...oo maybe he is keeping it until then. I'll leave it there..hopefully he doesn't get mad that I saw it?
Personally I'd check it out and take it if it's something special. Check for trick arrows and so on. I knew this guy back on a version of our Earth called himself Hawkeye.... Well anyway, I'm sure he'd rather you take it than, you know...die.*Begins rigging crossed lasers across door and rigging high voltage charge to a metal net suspended over door.*
Hawkeye? Oo tell me more about him. He sounds interesting. *takes arrows and bow, exiting the room*
Later, while we're hiding in the smuggling compartments... Could you help me with this?* Lifts wall plate into place over door.* Here put these heat resistant gloves on and hold this please. * Welds plates in place hiding door. *

Okay I think they have us on board...we should get out of sight.
*grabs your arm and drags you to the smugglers hiding spots, opening one quickly and disappearing inside* Hurry!
...good thinking....* Closes compartment, removes shorter version of custom pistols from shoulder holster, screws silencer onto barrel and replaces magazine with new one...whispers *
Subsonic rounds, no sound barrier crack...much quieter.
*nods* Good idea...oh they are boarding. *sits back against the wall in complete darkness*
* Life flashes before eyes...reruns...runs highlights reel....marks favorite parts...reviews bucket list in mind....makes mental note to look up that woman vampire hunter I almost married a few years ago and consider settling down. Review other life choices.......pray...pray again...still praying *
*leans forward and gently settles a comforting hand on your arm as I peek out of a hole and watch as they search the ship. Stifles a laugh and whispers* They are headed for the locked door.
Crap. I thought the wall plate I welded over it might let it go unnoticed. Close your eyes before they open it there are multiple lasers that will crisscross that opening.
*continues to watch as they look at the door then keep walking* They didn't try to open it. Phew! If hey had more of those creeps would be on here searching for us I'm sure.
* tramping noises, scraping...passing *Are they headed back out?
*smiles and looks back at you* Yep they just left. Dang they are noisy....hope you are light on your feet because the next part is us sneaking off this ship, onto theirs, and find Riddick. Possibly Doom if he is on here.
Well you brought up the Star Wars paradigm. Maybe we can get a couple aside and switch uniforms...what were they wearing? If it was like skin tight body stockings or something that won't work.Wasn't armor or something by any chance???? Or at least bulky uniforms with head gear.
*giggles*. What? You don't want to wear spandex? And no worries it is uniforms with masks. Wait...two are coming back..wow!

*measures you then the two walking past* The one on the left is more my size while I think the one on the right will fit you better. But if you do use that, make sure to do your best to not get blood on the uniforms.

These guys apparently came in to blow the door we welded shut. We've got a little time but sooner or later they'll wonder why there's been no blast.
*picks up a brown paper bag, blows into it, says something in elvish then slams hands into, causing a loud bang sound that sounds like dynamite going off* There! Ow!

* crawls quietly back from door *Shades of Star Wars again. Big bay, two guys in some sort of uniforms standing guard at the bottom of the gangway. The uniforms are different from these. There are also several species of individual moving about in the bay...from what I can see it's huge. There are a few other ships within eyesight.
One of them's a Firefly, don't know if it's Serenity. Can't see a name, but you know Fireflys (or is that Fireflies) were pretty common before the rebellion.
*follows you to the door and peers out* Does this mean that there is a princess we have to save? Or is Riddick our princess? *stifles a giggle*
....possibly, but I wouldn't put it to him that way. Unfortunately we don't have R2 to give us a read out of the ship.Any ideas? I think surrounding them's out.
Yea next time let's pack R2 and we'll be good to go. Zoe gave me a wrist thingy that does read outs but I don't know how it works. She never had time to show me. *takes off my watch and hands it to you* Think you can figure it out?
Hummm.....* fiddles with watch finds how to tell time on 5000 planets...how to adjust watch to days of various lengths for several planets....finds radiation counter, pulse monitor, blood pressure readings, a library of 2000,000 titles, a calculator, a video function with 100,000 movies, a hologram projector....a daily horoscope.....Finally triggers a small set of connectors to pop out the back. *

Point to your throat and shake your head. I'll tell them you've developed a sore throat and the med-techs think there may have been a transmissible virus on the ship. It'll help keep everybody back.That or I'll shoot them.
