* Remains silent though it's a strain as we cross the bay through the mostly bored looking workers. An odd assortment of races and species are around us beings (humanoid and otherwise) in clothing and accoutrements (or lack thereof) from multiple planets, systems, galaxies and even universes. We note that the Firefly is not Serenity. There are many cargo type ships, small fighters, some other armed ships of escort size. The "troops" are in different kinds of uniforms and armor but we note each (including ours) has a picture or insignia of two mailed fists one grips a curved sword the other what looks like a lightening bolt. They are green and red on a black field.
Strangely enough considering past luck we reach the other side of the huge bay to a line of doors, one of which has a glass or at least transparent window in it showing a small chamber with a computer console among what appears to be some kind of controls and possibly communication gear. *
*keeps pace with you trying not to look obviously out of place as I look at the other species around us. I start to relax once we get to our destination. * Will this work? *pushes the door open and examines the technology in front of us* Looks like it'll work.
* Pulls blinds *Okay plug in...I'll try to watch both doors at onc...
* door in back of room slides open...throw knife, catch surprised guard and drag him into room...close door and set controls to lock *
...uh-hummm As I was saying, I'll try to watch both doors. Check for Riddick and see if you can get any data on what's happening here, please.
* pulls out knife and cleans it *
*removes my watch again and plugs it in and types in a few symbols* Okay...nice throw by the way. *chews on lower lip as a screen appears in front of me and with one hand, swipes the screen around to see if I can find Riddick or any information*Here we go! Riddick is two flights up. It looks like there are others being held there too. *reads the information about each* They are collecting random species and of different careers, including murderers... I won't why they want doctors, artists, and murderers. It's kind of scary!
...me to...hummmm.And let me guess, Riddick's in the detention area?
"I turn a corner and see rather odd looking charactors coming toward me. What do I do? Can they possibly help along on my quest?
Only one way to find out, I remove my sonic tool from my coat pocket, turn the corner to face them, and request that they Halt! While holding them at bay with my sonic tool I look them over closely and low and behold they look familiar. Do I dare ask them assistance?
*glances nervously over Mike's shoulder* Mike! We have company?
....* looks around to make sure we're giving ourselves away *So I see... Time Lord???? Umm you know that long coat and floppy hat will likely draw attention to you here.
The one called Mike turned to face me. I do know that mug,but from where?
*clicks a few symbols on my watch* Okay I have saved all of the information that we need. We should get out of here and look for Riddick. *glances back at Madjack* who is that, Mike?
NOT SURE.....you're not the Dr. are you? Or is this one of you I haven't met?
*gently grabs onto your sleeve* Mike...the others are starting to look over towards us.
* steps forward* We're headed for the detention level...if you want to come along, just try to look...boring.
*glances back towards the other guards* Maybe we should talk about this later. *gently pulls on Mike's arm and Madjack's arm, pulling them in the direction of the elevator* This way boys. Time to free Riddick and possibly the others? I saw plenty of ships on our way in here. It looks like they are collecting ships along with people.
Let's go for it. I just need to grab my towel and I'll be right along. Umm by the way just what/or who is it were seeking?
*pushes a button and waits for the doors to open to an empty elevator* Our friend, Riddick. We were on our way to stop Doom from trying to capture the Leviathan again and breeding a monster with guns and..and who knows what else *shudders* Then these guys captured Riddick and took our ship so we have to free our friend and possibly putting this ship out of commission. They are working with Doom...so it says in the records. They are planning on capturing tons of ppl and putting them to work on creating their own Leviathan. How...I don't know yet.
Great...* speaks quietly through gritted teeth *I guess the other guy was headed somewhere else...well we'll see. Guess he'll catch up with his...towel...
Any idea who Doom is working with? For that matter any other names of prisoners?
Sounds like a challenge I'm up for. By the way you can call me (What am I calling myself in this dimension?) OH I remember, you can refer to me as Arthur, and you are?
*steps into the elevator* I'll show you once we get in here...those guards are making me really nervous and I don't feel like fighting just now..not until we have to. *stands in the way back of the elevator*
Nice...towel Arthur. What color do you call that coat???It's new to me.
*steps in with my new fellow travels* I ask "So what's the plan and how may I be of use?"
*curses under my breath and drags Mike and Arthur onto the elevator and punches in the key so that the elevator doors shut and begins to move in the direction that they need* I'm Lacey, this is Mike. Nice to meet you Arthur.
* lifts face guard of stolen uniform and smiles...lowers face guard back down *So...are you here because someone got snatched?
My pleasure. Now to the mission at hand. Let see what I can add to the party. I have this little sonic tool thingy, a towel (which can be extremely useful) must find you two your own)) and a slow wit.
*searches Arthur's face to see if I can see if he is friend or foe* We are nearly to the jails or holding cells or whatever they are called. How do we free the others?
Welllll...maybe his sonic "thingy" can handle the locks?
*takes off my stolen helmet and let my shoulder brown hair fall down around my face like a lion's mane* I hope that will work. Arthur? If we distract the guards, do you think you can open the locks to the cells?
Well...or disable the guards.
I have a plan. When we get off the elevator you Lacey take my towel it will make you appear as a poor lost tourist. Mike seeing as you have a guards uniform take Laceys arm *gently* and guide her down the walkway away from Riddicks cell thus distracting the guards. Ill slip down the hall the other way and use my sonic tool thingy to jimmy the cell door lock...and then....
* stares uncomprehendingly at Arthur* Ummm...I don't think they have tourists here on what appears to be the command ship of some conquering conspiracy.. How about we walk out with Lacy on one side of you and I on the other...as if you're under guard and we scope out the situation?????
Just a thought.
*raises an eyebrow* Will it work? *sheds off my guard clothes, back in my tight blue jeans, black combat boots and black short sleeve zip and buckle shirt* Or maybe I can distract the guards on my own and you both free the prisoners?
You really want to try the tourist thing?????* rolls eyes and lifts eyebrow*

*turns to the door as it opens* Okay boys have fun. *exists the elevator and saunters over to the guards with a smile giggling and keeping their attention on me*
I kind of like Laceys idea. I being a former Marine guard I think she would have no problem distracting the guards
* Guards stand with mouths open and gaping...except for one female guard who lifts weapon*Hold! What's your business here?!
*looks at the female* I'm actually a little lost. Someone told me that the captain was up here. But obviously they aren't familiar with this place. Maybe you can tell me? Have a map maybe? *looks perfectly confused which caught the female guard off guard and to believe her*
* whispers through teeth * These aren't the droids you're looking for.* steps out of "lift"*
I grab my towel and slyly hand my little sonic tool thingy (to be know as the LSTT) to Mike and then make my way toward the guard swinging towel above my head and doing a little jig to distract her
*glances towards Arthur and can't help but giggle. Keeps talking to the guys to keep them distract so Mike can unlock the doors*
* walks purposefully as if I own the place to the cells...note the numbers scan the set up and look around...............Lacy and Arthur note a sneaky smile *
*Uses LSTT to disengage locks....all locks in detention center from master control*
*hears the locks unlock and quickly punches the three male guards, knocking them out* Arthur! Take her out!
*Sneaks a peek at Mike to check on his progress*
* doors on three decks, 3 levels of cells on each deck spring open. prisoners of every shape, size sex and description burst forth, charge out, saunter forth, fly down corridors, attack guards and in general cause chaos....Taps Riddick on shoulder...ducks punch he throws at me and then directs him toward Lacy and Arthur.
Begins to scan to see if I know any of the other prisoners *
*dodges a bullet that the female guard shoots at me*
* Starts to drop female guard but Riddick has already thrown a steel chair into her killing her instantly.lays down covering fire allowing prisoners to arm themselves of simply run...looks around for Arthur*
Lacy! Have you seen Arthur?
*I turn and grab Lacey and start running toward Mike and Riddick all the while digging around in my trench coat looking for my HANDY DANDY COLLAPSIBLE THUMB...*
*runs with Arthur* Yea he's here with me, Mike. We better get out of here. I'm sure everyone has heard the gun shots by now.
So what's the plan guys? Do we blow this popcicle stand and the let the prisoners take the ship or stay and have some fun?
No kidding * grins * Not to steal anyones line but, "I love it when a plan comes together."* pile into lift with a "bunch" of other prisoners and watch Arthur and his collapsible thumb as we ride down. *
