So far we have 47 classics on our book shelves and I was wondering....how many of them have you actually read? Hahaha!

I have only read 23...and it's my group! Haha! Talk about embarassing, looks like I have some catching up to do!!
I found this thread when I was looking through old threads, looking for Contemporary Classics definition *grin*.I started to count, shortly after I joined, in Trisha's "Catching Up Challenge", but I'm not sure now, how many.
Here's our bookshelf: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...
What's YOUR number? :D
Pink wrote: "28 for me, hopefully with a few more crossed off the list soon"I just did a quick scan. I think I'm at 30 ... and maybe (hopefully) Clockwork and Mockingbird and Solitude and Adventures of Sherlock, next, will bring me to 34 next month.
I've read 18 of them since joining this group!! :-o (wow!)
Sad to say I have only read 6!! I own many more of them that I just have not read yet. Even more reason I am glad I joined this group.
Brenda wrote: "Sad to say I have only read 6!! I own many more of them that I just have not read yet. Even more reason I am glad I joined this group."Not sad, it just means you have lots of great reading to choose from! ^_^
Gavin wrote: "Only 5... but I'll get there eventually."Like Brenda, lots of great books ahead for you, I hope, Gavin! :)
8, and I've already read the two books of next month so basically almost 10. Which is still not that great..
20/84...looks like I have my work cut out for me. There are plenty more books on the shelf that I need to read and explore. :)
I've only read 12, and I consider myself quite well-read when it comes to classics! Oh well, it'd be a pretty sad state of affairs if I had nothing else on my to-read list :)
Cleo wrote: "43/84 …… just a little more than half!"Connie wrote: "I was surprised to find that I have read 55/84 and have several more on my shelf and/or TBR list."
Bob wrote: "To date 45 of 84. Hope to add a few more by the end of the year."
You three seem to have read the most so far, Bob, Connie, and Cleo. I'm not surprised at all, Connie! You almost always read all of the monthly reads, I've noticed.
33/84well I just joined here, so definately plan to read a lot of the books on the list, most of them are on my TBR-list anyway :-)
Okay, I counted this up.I read 8 while in high school (30 years ago)
I read 13 either for fun during school or after school and before Good Reads.
I read 11 after Good Reads.
Oh, yes! There are many books I look at and think, why didn't we read that in school? I can always improve. I feel sorry for people that don't read books. They're missing so much!
Only 9 of 84!! Which is the reason I joined this group. :-) Looking forward to reading more of them!
Christine wrote: "Only 9 of 84!! Which is the reason I joined this group. :-) Looking forward to reading more of them!"You're in the perfect place then! :D
(And, btw, that was the same reason I joined this group, too :)) )
Henry wrote: "Only 5, it turns out.. so hopefully I'll catch up a bit :)"You're in the right group for it! :)
Richa wrote: "Have read 28."
Hi Richa! Welcome to Catching Up on the Classics (and lots more!). Glad to have you join us :)
Ann wrote: "Just found the group and I have read 43 not too bad."Hi, and welcome, Ann! (I think I remember seeing you in the War & Peace threads, not sure if I said hello tho :) )
Stephanie (LitLoversLane.com) wrote: "Have read 12, which was a surprise. More than I expected, though it still kinda sucks. :)"
Totally doesn't suck, Stephanie! You have lots of good reading to be discovered, hopefully :)
