Pam S - post 1080You're almost there! ;-) I just need you to include a link to the actual version of The Old Curoisity shop by Charles Dickens that you read. The directions on how to do this can be found in the Posting Requirements: 3. To claim a task in Completed Tasks, you MUST include a link to the book edition you read. If a task requires details about an author, the author link must be included. For instructions on adding a link, see post 1 of Add book/author/cover Instructions in General Help.
EllenCA - post 1089Task 15.2 requires 2 books, but since you listed "A Bird in the Hand..." for that task I assume you meant task 15.10, correct? No need to repost, just confirm that this is the correct task number. Thanks!
I do need you to repost task 20.3, however, including which option you chose for that one.
The total posted in the Readerboard thread for Goodreads authors does not correspond to what I have in my spreadsheet. I should have 8 but only 7 were counted. I have gone back and verified all my posts to make sure I didn't forget any and they're all there. These are the Goodreads authors with their corresponding post number to help in your verification:
James Rollins post #37
Steve Berry post #44
S.J. Watson post #215
Maggie Stiefvater post #226
James Patterson post #721
Diccon Bewes post #908
Allison Winn Scotch post #1029
Colleen Hoover post #1054
Hope this helps! Thanks!

That helped a lot, Sandra. Thanks!
I missed post 721. The correction will be reflected in the next update.

I used the link http://www.howmanysyllables.com/howto... provided in the task help to count. It does not have an answer for the work "changeling", so I counted the vowels, as instructed. I did not count the e in the middle of the word as a "silent" vowel, because it is in the middle, and I pronounce it with 3 syllables.
However, I will retract the submission and use the book somewhere else.
I have a question though. I counted my name as 5 syllables, because I used the same rules referenced above (silent e at the end of "Anne"). However, in my own language, "Anne" is pronounced and counted as 2 syllables. So do I use 5 (as I did) or should I use 6?
I appreciate your help with this! English rules are sometimes beyond me!
Marie-Anne wrote: "I appreciate your help with this! English rules are sometimes beyond me!"That's OK, Marie-Anne, English rules are sometime beyond me, too, and it's my native language! If you pronounce "Anne" with 2 syllables, you should use 6.

Jen C - post 1312Task 30.4 -- The task description states: If you roll a 4,5 or 6, congratulations, you have hit the jackpot! Read one book with 4, 5 or 6 words in the title, corresponding to your spin AND for your second book, choose a book with any number of words in the title between one and six.
Book 2 is fine, but Star of the Morning won't work for book 1 because it has only 4 words in the title. You need one with a 5 word title.

JennRenee - post 1381Posting Requirements state: 3. To claim a task in Completed Tasks, you MUST include a link to the book edition you read. If a task requires details about an author, the author link must be included.
You can copy the links you you have in message 229 in this thread by hitting "edit" in the lower right-hand corner of that post. Please repost your task in the completed task thread with the required links.
Nick KYGentle, Patient Moderators. I hate to add to your frustration in any way, but...
Please note that I made a mistake in post 1418. The edition I read is from 1997 and has the original date as 1997, not 1992 as I claimed.
I corrected the mistake in post 1420 because, luckily, I could switch books around in the 3-book task.
Thanks so much!!!

MARIA HELENAHey wonderful moderators. I think you got my number of GR authors wrong in the readerboard (thru to post 1400). As of post 1353, I have 19 GR authors according to my records but you have me listed for 21. (I do have two more coming in post #1407)
I am new here! I was wondering if I could count books that I read within the time period, but before I joined the group today? For example, I read a book about Christmas and New Years and I read it during the last half of December into the new year. Thanks!!

You've claimed books in posts 1433 and 1434, however, you have not linked to either titles nor authors.
