Adele, if you'll manage to read at least 600 pages this month you might "exchange" January and November assignments and that way stay in the game. Or you can always "claim" the easiest of assignments (December - read whatever you like). :)

I haven't managed to reach my January total but I have a suggestion to keep me in the game.
In February I will read my 5 romantic books plus the books I need to read to meet my January target, my romance books will not count towards this total they have to be extra to the February target books.

I set my goal for 3000 and actually read 4648. I had no idea how many I could do in a month. This is the first time I have tried any of these challenages and am really enjoying them.

Barbara I have the same issue of not having someone to read too other than my cat. But I just found out that the local library has this kids program call "Reading to a Dog."

They bring in dogs and have kids read to them. I have to check it out and get the details :D Even if I cant partake I think its a great idea for kids.

And the 2,000 page book, Im planning on reading the series that has been package together option. Im thinking of Vampire Academy. Havent found enough books about a body of water yet either. But should be able to find some more--maybe with a look at what others have pick out for that month :D

Cause I'm weird and totally plan ahead about things like this...for September does that have to be one genre we ignore or don't get to read much or can we read from different genres as long as they aren't ones we typically read (I'm thinking classics and biographies for myself)?

Here are some that I was looking at. I went through my Kindle and many were freebies (at one time and maybe be free again).





My copy in Kindle has a green cover.

As to them being good--I havent read them--so dont know. Plus some may not be long enough or too long for what you have in mind.
