I tend to do fairly well with my "One Till Done" self-challenge, where I read the next-in-series book to be released in the coming year. But, the other series, those I have a bunch to catch up to that point, fall to the wayside sometimes.

So it's your call really. Same with the short stories, you can include them if you want to, but you don't have to.

I don't know if to join or not. It seems that lately I'm catching up quickly on series that interest me and only lagging on those where I'm iffy.
This time around - I'm going to use this one to push me to catch up on some series that I've stalled on - like House of Night and The Womens Murder Club - so I know how you feel D.G.Mainly I just want to get some books out of the house!!!

OK Fellow Challengers:I promised you all a list and a list I will give you. It isn't as pretty as everyone else's but I've spent about 6 hours getting all of the books together and imported into the right format for my Ipad, found the missing books and updated all of the data in Calibre. Now as I finish each one, I'll just remove it from my device and have my own little countdown going. I have managed to whittle the list down a bit, not by much but it better then where I was. I will try to update at least once a week. Here's wishing all of you good luck on this challenge!

This challenge seems to have struck a chord with lots of people, so I thought I'd run it again next year, it's a chance to get up to date in some series - or at least get as far as you can!
Set yourself a target - you have two options:
Number of Series
or
Number of Books
The Rules
* Any genre is allowed.
* There has to be at least 2 books that you need to read to get up to date/finish the series (if you are going the series route).
* If you're getting up to the current release in a series, then it should be current as at 30th November (that way if it has a book coming out in December it's your call whether or not to include it).
* You can include the short stories/novellas between books if you wish.
* Audiobooks and re-reads are fine (as long as you read it properly - no skimming.
If you don't have all the books you need to get up to date (e.g you have 4 out of 5), then use the books you have.
Add/change series as you go along if you want to!
