Gratz Kyle on your writing!

Wow Alondra that is quite the endeavor. I bet if the book is good enough, you can do it no problem!

Chris (cbrunner11) | 674 comments 5:17 PM and I am being even lazier than normal. Working the closing shift tonight and decided to say hello. Been checking in all afternoon but didn't feel like commenting.

Been reading Nothing Lasts Forever, and I am really hoping to finish it tonight at work. I am also hoping it is slow so I can. Boss is gone and I brought my kindle.

Katy (katyas-69) | 1731 comments Christine, were you asking me? Cold Days is the latest Harry Dresden book. Armageddon, Harry's beat up a bunch, the normal type of thing. Love it!

10:11 p.m. EST Just dropping in to add more quotes, clear out more e-mail, and add a few notes to my review before I finish the book. Tomorrow will be dedicated to finishing up the ABNA reviewing and writing a guest post for a friend's blog. Monday... back to editing! It was a nice week off!

Kyle, awesome news on your writing!

4:04am EST. Back with my old pal insomnia. Went to bed at 1am, now up for day. Waiting for pain and nausea meds to kick in. (As Bob Dylan said, "my weariness amazes me.") Getting ready to read--I'm trying to finish at least 1 of my current books before Heartsick buddy read starts Tues. Also have started my first book reading on the laptop. It makes me think I'd like a Kindle after all. (Never thought I'd say that!) Time to make some coffee and lose myself in some good fiction. Hope it's a great Sunday for everyone!

message 2067: by Alondra (new)

Alondra Miller 10:45am ET. Of course, 1000 pages were not read; but I did actually get some reading done.

Enjoying coffee, GR updates and ready for things to get bloody again in A Dance With Dragons.

10:50AM Ugh I wish I could get my days straight. Hub working on weekends now has throw me a curve and I am still trying to get used to it. Grandbaby here this weekend but still gona try and read today. Wanted to finish Song of Susannah today, but I am not sure that will happen.

Terri I could see having a Kindle, but I love books too. I am sure I could equally ration it out lol. I have a ton of books on my kindle App, but have not really read too many of them. I read them like in between buddy reads sometimes.

And, I'm listening to Al Stewart....my second-favorite artist of all-time. :)

Katy (katyas-69) | 1731 comments 1:26 a.m. EST Just downloaded the few NetGalley books I had scheduled to read that weren't archived, since my Kindle is apparently completely lost. *sigh* Means I have to read them all in less than 2 months or I'll lose access to them, but at least I have a chance. Unfortunately one for which I owed a review week after next is just ... no longer available. My husband has a Tiger cat standing on his shoulders very happily. It's adorable...

7:30AM I decided on no nap. LOL Grand blessing still sleeping so I figured I would finish my book this morning while he sleeps, since I did not finish yesterday, almost though lol. We were up late because he had a late nap. I was dog tired getting kay up this morning and wanted to lay back down. Oh well a little quiet time before laundry. Good Morning GR!

Kathryn, I'm exhausted just reading about your evening last night!

9:43am EST. Just sitting down to relax with GR and then hitting my books. Still enjoying morning coffee. Got up at 4am and have gotten a lot done. Laundry finished. Dinner made and simmering. (Doing chick BBQ again per request of hub and son. It's actually good, because the recipe is just in my head and the last time turned out so well but I wasn't sure I could duplicate it. Turns out I can!) Puppy napping after his morning romp. Feeling good today, hope you all are too!

3:36PM and working on dinner. Also gonna squeeze in a quick book before tomorrow by Alyson Noel. She is a YA author. I read most of first series, then they just started getting way out there. Read the first 3. But now she has a small series on the main characters sister who died and the book is her experience in the afterlife through her eyes. So I thought it would be interesting.

Hey Chris just out of curiosity is it the single copy of rage? Or is it the bachman books?

Katy (katyas-69) | 1731 comments 5:10 p.m. EST Just taking a quick break to clear out accumulated e-mail and say "hi". Editing... this book is awesome! Clean and Floss to be published by Scott Rhine once we have it all done. If you enjoy comedic urban fantasy, you won't want to miss it. I think it's somewhat related to his books The Redemption of Mata Hari and Foundation for the Lost, or at least in the same universe. I know I'm enjoying reading it! Even if I have to read it with my "editor hat" on.

Chris (cbrunner11) | 674 comments Janie I got the Bachman book collection from the library. I'd love to have the book for my collection but since it is out of print anyone selling one is asking a huge amount for. This way I can at least read it. I'll start this tonight when I head to bed.

8:34 PM and I'm relaxing on the couch with my wife. She is knitting, I'm checking in on GR and we are watching our own Psych marathon with our DVD sets. Love that show. Hope everyone is having a good evening.
