Oh, and backyard cricket or cricket on the beach haha."

Even with the reputation for the beer it still sounds like a great time Shell. LOL I would love to visit Australia. my dad used to talk about going all the time. He never got to go though. :(

7:20 Yay the septic system is once again functional! Had leftovers for Dinner. Took Aves to the Playground! Had a great work out and had a shower, was nice not worrying about how long of a shower I could take. Now relaxing with some coffee! My feet are tired and hurt too. LOL Ready for my next book Triptych by Karin Slaughter. I have heard good things about it.

Such a great way to wake up. :) I stayed up late finishing The Bone Collector. Amazing, five star read. I've already started Rot and Ruin, and I am already liking it! Our plans for today include going to the Goodwill to donate some things, pack up more of the house, and I hope to do my review of The Bone Collector vlog.

Thank you, Janie! I will less stressed at 9:00 AM, Thursday, March 27, when we close and get our keys. Lol

message 10440: by [deleted user] (new)

5:23am EDT. Good morning GR! Up early to drink coffee with hub before he goes to work. I actually slept for 6 hours last night! Heaven! Planning to try a new recipe for dinner. It's kind of a stew or soup with butternut squash, lentils, quinoa, spinach, red peppers and some broth and seasonings. Trying a meatless Friday. My younger son is coming in from Cleveland, so I'm super excited about that. He's going to a wedding in New Orleans and then is staying for a week of vacation. We get to dog sit his border collie Macy. Should be exciting with 2 active dogs to entertain.

Heather, hope things turn out in a positive way for you.

Cindy, so glad you're home from the hospital. Hope you're feeling better and your heart's OK.

GeneralTHC 6:28 AM

Hoping to have an epic reading day. I guess I need to resign myself to the fact that I'm just never going to get caught up on my reading. Books just come out of the woodwork at me. I mean, all genres, too. Still hoping to get caught up in a fantasy novel. I'm serious considering The Way of Kings (The Stormlight Archive, #1) by Brandon Sanderson . And I have a ton of nonfiction waiting on me, the latest being: Skeletons on the Zahara A True Story of Survival by Dean King , Berlin Diary The Journal of a Foreign Correspondent 1934-41 by William L. Shirer , and Pilgrim's Wilderness A True Story of Faith and Madness on the Alaska Frontier by Tom Kizzia .

Kathryn (kcanty313) | 1870 comments 10:42 AM. Goooooood morning, GR!!!!!! I slept well last night for the most part. I've been up for a while messing around on my phone. I am wanting coffee, so I will make some and hopefully read a few pages before we get busy packing, etc. I made a list last night of stuff to do, wow....good thing we don't have to do it all today. There is just no way it would all get done. Anyways, H A P P Y F R I D A Y!!!!!

Terri, a good nights rest is so important and it is amazing how it can effect your mood and body. I'm happy for you, especially since your son is coming into town. :)

Frankly, I've been feeling like crap lately. The vibe in the house is so different now with my little Baby Girl gone. Been feeling like a ghost town. Today is the first day I've begun to feel any better at all--getting my sleep right helped, and I think the weather is a big plus. Guess I'll try to go into extra super-duper, warp drive, marathon-reading mode, lol.

Have a good weekend everybody!

Cindy-glad your home from the hospital

Heather-wishing you all the best-hope it all works out

Ok so all of the furniture in my bedroom is gone and I am a little stress out by that. But I have to keep reminding myself that this just means that we are moving forward on redesigning my bedroom. I have had my bedroom furniture for a long time and I don't handle big changes like this too well. But I am trying to look on the bright side:\

I was up till nearly 4am last night so I'm tired. Sorry about your cat Chuck:( its truly awful when we lose our pets, they become such big parts of our families.
