What time is it and what are you doing?
15:12pm Stuck in bed for the next few days :( so I'll be reading a lot and watching movies to pass time!
I have a huge gash on my thigh and the hospital have said not to move for a few days to allow it to heal and reduce the risk of it re-opening and becoming infected. :(
Oh man that's not good How did you get that gash on your thigh?
Walked into a gate that had something sharp on it. (Ridiculous, i know!)
Yikes and that happens but I hope your thigh feels better
10:48 AM. Good morning, GR! I'm enjoying some coffee this gloomy morning. We were up pretty late packing up the garage. The landlord is already here again doing things outside. I have some things to do around the house, but I will wait until I finish my coffee. I need to wake up.

Chuck, I wish I had some good advice for you. I've had some slumps like that and it's hell. Are you physically OK? I know you're still grieving for your kitty--is that a factor as well? Anyway, sending you ((((hugs and creative energy))))

Kathryn, sounds like you're in good shape for the move. When is moving day?
Katy, I'm a nurse so I know how awful liver biopsies are. You're just going through so much right now, I wish there were something your GR friends could do. Just remember we're all in your corner and available to chat (for me any hour works out, I don't sleep much.)
3:23pm EDT. Just drinking coffee (still) and catching up. We had fiberoptics installed today so I didn't have access to my laptop for a while. The poor dogs had to stay outside to keep them out of the way. They ended up out there from 8:15 till 2:00. Of course they did fine, but Mom here felt guilty about it and gave them special treats when they came in. They are both now deeply asleep.

Thanks guys, she is still not doing too good. It just breaks my heart to have her feel bad. If she is not doing any better by tomorrow I will take her to the vet. Going to make beef bulgogi and pork wontons for dinner. Yummy Asian
Chuck I wish there was a shot of happy you could take. Maybe mindless TV would help. Big Bang Theory makes me lol. Hang in there.

4:30 pm, just got back from the gym, now I'm just browsing on the computer and watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off, one of my all-time favorite comedies.

5:16 PM Really mad about the news I just heard from my grandmother. My troubled cousin has to pive with us now because his Mom can't handle him. I don't know what the heck I'm going to do. He is destructive and steals things. The best I can hope for right now is to at least get my Spring break to myself. My Mom took the week off work for my Spring break and we had such great relaxing things planned out.

7:37 p.m. EDT I slept off and on from noon to about 6:30. Hubby had to be to the store by 8:30 this morning for a Corporate meeting and then work a double shift. He was going to try to come home to put the dog out, but couldn't escape, so I had to. Bending all the way over to hook the chain on the dog's collar was not fun; the edges of my ostomy bag dug into my stomach, and the pain at the biopsy site intensified. That wasn't helped by it being close to time to take another dose! :-) The cats managed to bust in once (all three of them), although I don't know why, because they had food and water both. Then they tried again a couple times. Well, the door is open now, and Erasmus is happily lounging over on Dmitry's side on the edge. Heh. I don't have any appointments or reasons to be anywhere now until next Tuesday for my next chemo treatment, although I do need to go to my surgeon's office to pick up a prescription for ostomy supplies so I can go to Care Medical to stock up. I ended up just watching a couple episodes of Family Guy last night, because I was tired and a bit sleepy, so I didn't want to start something long that I might not be able to finish before I fell asleep... :-) So, I think I'll just do the bare minimum of catching up and make it a NetFlix night.
5:44 pm Reading the Two Towers. Treebeard just appeared. Will take a break a read a little more later.

6:42PM Working and it is really slow. Reading a bit and trying to stay awake. So close to finishing The Keeper. It's pretty good and I can't wait to see how this ends.

10:30 p.m just got done adding the books I got at Goodwill tonight to my shelves, though 10 out of 12 books I got were all for the kid. Scored big on Clifford the Dog and Thomas the Train books today, so he was thrilled. Speaking of Clifford, I'm waiting for kiddo's DVD show of it to be over so I can put his lil butt in bed and have some reading time! Just read an article about all the crap the big main pizza chains put in their pizzas, it made me irritated because I love pizza! It's like my favorite food next to ice cream. I don't want to read that it's full of GMOs and MSGs and wood pulp (aka cellulose) in the cheese!! Grr! Like my rinky-dink splat on the map has any all natural organic vegan pizza places to get 'safe' pizza at. Sigh. Guess I'll have to learn to dislike pizza, though I can't see that being an easy battle. >.<In other news, the leftover tacos I had for dinner were pretty darn good. My friend makes fun of me because we have taco night at my house like once a month, but they're so good!
I probably should've done some dishes or sweeping or something, but I didn't. There's always tomorrow :D

2:30 a.m. EDT I'm ready to sleep. I received one of my fun cosplay wigs in the mail today and Dmitry took a picture of me in it, but it's not very good. Once I have the rest of them we'll do it properly. Good night everyone!

Enjoy.3:10 p.m. EST I slept for about 6 hours off and on, but the cats kept trying to break in and howling, so finally I broke down and opened the door and started messing around on my computer. At which point the cats all went away. Typical felines... LOL I just learned last night that Dave Brockie, aka Oderus Urungus from GWAR, died Sunday. :-( This makes me very sad. Once I'm awake tonight, when I turn on my computer I'll play GWAR music in tribute. Today's mail and UPS brought two DVDs - the first season of the Ricky Gervais show, and Zorro the Gay Blade, as well as some really lovely perfume. Also had a few friends give me Amazon gift certificates, so I can look forward to a lovely shopping spree once I have a better idea of things I might need. It's now time for a nap...

5:30 p.m. just got back home from my day with my worker, I got a bad headache, I think I did too much studying, I should mention I'm studying for my driving permit, and I think I did too much, I took some aspirin so we'll see what that does.

I have a question. Does anyone have the iPhone and did you upgrade it lately? I cannot maneuver on Goodreads at all anymore. I am soooo frustrated. Facebook is still fine, but trying to move around on GR is driving me nuts!! Anyone else have this problem?
6:27am EDT. Haven't posted in a few days so I'm trying to catch up with everyone. I finished a book last night that I really feel stupid about reading (Her Fearful Symmetry). Has anyone felt that way after reading something? The plot was just completely outrageous. I had it figured out by page 100 but I kept reading to the foolish end at page 405. Oh well. I'm on to bigger and better things. I have 17 books at the library that my hub will pick up tomorrow. I'm in a place where I've committed to too many books in the coming weeks. But I've decided not to get stressed out and just read where my heart takes me. Right now it's pouring down rain and the wind is really blowing. It's going to be a drag today to keep the 2 doge mud-free. Happy Friday everyone!

Katy, your strength of spirit inspires me. I've had both a colostomy and an ileostomy in the past, and I know how hard it is to get the proper supplies and take care of the ostomy.
Chris, I can see how working 2 jobs would be tough, especially over time. No wonder you're exhausted! Hope you get some healing family time soon.

10:45am curled up on my sofa under my quilt with a big mug of coffee and a new book. Feeling really down today, may have to go to the doctor about new meds.
5:07 am Morning, GR! Stayed up late (or early) watching movies and felt like reading a few more pages. Problem is "few" turned into like 30 pages. Now, off to sleep...

6:48 a.m. EDT Erasmus and Fluff again beat the door down about 6, insisting on coming in. I decided to just stay up because I have to see to it Dmitry is at work by 8:30 and he can be a bit difficult to wake. I'll likely snooze some more once I see him off, although I do need to call my gastroenterologist about some things. Meanwhile, I shall return to clearing out old social media posts once I catch up on a few from today.
