I have to admit--I didn't really think I'd make it to the end of this one. My Mum died on the 16th after a short illness (well, short this time--she had Alzhimer's and dementia.) As her guardian at the time of her death, I've been really busy--including a 5 day road trip to take her body back to her childhood home (she and my Dad were childhood sweethearts) so that she could be buried next to my Dad. It's been a perfectly horrible 11 days, as I'm sure you can all understand. I'd been sitting at 9.25 books since the 16th, and today I finally managed to finish off that last 3/4 of a book.

I am thinking that I might go sit under a tree someplace really WARM for a few days (even if that tree is only in my imagination.)

Be back in a few days.
