Just finished The Language of Flowers and couldn't think of a better way to pay tribute. Its a wonderful book that I highly recommend. Many other great selections though.
So many great books to choose from, but I had to go with The Forgotten Garden. I'm a fairy tale fanatic!

Everything Ray Bradbury wrote is pure genius. Haven't read this one yet.
If the winning author is alive and can be contacted, I plan to contact him or her to seek an interview to post during the month of May. Wouldn't it be great to have a conversation with the BOTM winner each month, so they can give some insight to the chosen book?

Gather the Bones! Poppies and an engaging story set in the aftermath of WW1. Downtown Abbey with ghosts and secrets from the past.
Please be sure you are selecting the book, not just voting in the comments. Comments won't be counted, only votes cast by selecting the book desired. Thanks,

I know she doesn't need any help but had to vote for Kate Atkinson. At least I think I voted. There were no clanging bells, no tiny dings, no acknowledgment of any kind.
William wrote: "Carol wrote: "Downtown Abbey with ghosts..."My wife gets mad at me when I call it Downtown Abbey!"
My husband and kids drive me nuts when they call it that! Now they do it on purpose! LOL!
The Regret of a Flower gets my vote. The artwork of a bleeding heart on the cover is original, done by artist and author Liz Campbell, and is evocative of the tenderness and longing between the covers.
My vote goes to The Loved, The Lost, The Dreaming.

I'll crush & brew my dandelions in the front yard next month, no matter. And look forward to reading our noble group's selection. Dystopia is hard on me; I can't suspend disbelief; my city is too wonderful.
I went through a stage when I loved Science Fiction and must have read every book in existence on the subject. (Well, almost at the time, American-English). Ray Bradbury was a favorite. So do I vote nostalgically?

I've been wanting to read that since R.L. Stine recommended it on Twitter as his favorite book.
