Mine is, without any doubt, "To the Lighthouse"

Interesting - so my least favorite was your favorite? Glad it worked out for you! :D

Very tough choice but "An American Tragedy" has been at the top of my favorite book ever read for 60 years. (Not necessarily best ever read but certainly favorite).
Wow we read such an eclectic selection! I didn't like to the lighthouse I'm afraid, probably because it just didn't fit my mood at the time. I'll surprise Matthew and not select Doomsday just to break a pattern but I'm glad to see someone else selected it :-). I'll select "Age of Innocence" because it pleasantly surprised me, I somehow thought it would be a though swallow but it turned out to be a sweet little cake. Also, "Fall of the house of Usher" was rather dreadful but it did stay with me.

It was a tough vote for me because I was realizing that very few of the books this year blew me away - probably a side effect of 20202.
I really liked Lonesome Dove, too - but I read that a few years ago, so I picked something I read this year. An American Tragedy was a very pleasant surprise.
