I thoroughly enjoyed this foray into the subterranean world of silos and the culture of thought control and coercion that kept their inhabitants in line. People who dared to question the status quo or dreamed of a different life were banished outside of the silo into a toxic world that killed quickly.

A very entertaining book. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the story. It started off a little slow but picked up and became a real page turner.
Incredibly interesting. Ended up more hopeful then it began.
Excellent social commentary, which is a key to good science fiction.

Well paced, really nice world building. Maybe a bit more written on the different levels in the silo would have been nice, but the levels needed to tell the story are explained all right enough to get a sense of what they do. The ending was a it predictable and the big reveal isn't really that big of a reveal if you have read any scifi/dystopian books before. I have read/heard people complain about the title.
