I can not tell you how little I like this book. Tessa Grey=Clary Fray. Will =Jace, Jem =Jace/Alec. I never liked Clary, and I hate Tessa. I rather hate all the little uppity shites. The worst thing is the plot. So far it makes no sense at all. Ok. So Tessa is being held captive by the Dark sisters. Don't worry, this is NOT a Spoiler. This much is on the jacket of the hard cover, so its OK. They are holding her because they have her brother, they showed her his bloody ring, so she would be cooper ...more

Shelves: 1st-in-series

Overall: I loved this book. I was drawn into the story from the very beginning and did not want to stop even when it was finished. Cassandra Clare brought us another batch of great strong characters to fall in love with (and sometimes hate) and wove them into a world that we are are already familiar with, but made it their own. I'm not Team Will or Jem, I'm Team Cassandra as long as she is writing them I'll be reading them.
