Cassandra Clare's series are YA. However, they didn't feel too young (if that makes sense).

I really enjoyed her "Mortal Instruments" series and am looking forward to book #4, plus her new series "Infernal Devices" which comes out 31 Aug.

I really enjoyed the series. It was a very pleasant surprise for me. I hope you are able to get back into and find you enjoy them too. :)

That one is tough. I forced myself to finish it. I've read all 3 but that was because I was intrigued by a certain controversial issue. They get better though, I think rated them as 2, 3 and 4 stars.

Does anybody know how many books the Mortal Instruments series will have? There are 5 already out and I think the sixth will come out on March, 2014 but beyond that?

There are only 6 on her website.

I loved the mortal instruments series. And *spoiler alert* when Jace is kissing Clarey in the ally...... Ugh that was way better than the 100 pages I subjected myself to of fifty shades of grey! I flew through the first five books in no time.

I'm trying to read the Infernal Devices books now and I just ant get into it. I'm halfway thru the second and just have no real desire to finish it. Am I the only one?
