Did I expect it to be good? Of course, it's Harry Dresden, dammit.
I've started to worry that my nearly astronomical expectations for this series - because each book has gotten better and better, and since Changes they've been blowing the roof off - will eventually lead to massive disappointment with a book in this series. Because really, how can any author possibly keep this up?
But Butcher does. At least in this book, he absolutely does. And so he raises the bar just a hair higher.

Parts of this were hard to slog through on audio, but overall a good entry to the series. Especially for the Karry shippers!
Audiobook - fan-freakin-tastic! I did miss Thomas though :(
