What Members Thought
Gosh this was such a darn cute book! The first one I read by the author and I really like her writing! I almost stopped reading it because of a few f words in the first few pages (but after that they were few and far between), but glad I did not because it was such a sweet story of teenage romance - it brought me back to memories of when boys made my knees week and my thoughts were obsessive over one guy (; Ahhh memories. The one liners and love language between Park and Eleanor were very sweet

I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars on this one. Part of me thinks that this story is nothing new. We have an awkward girl from a crappy home life who is immediately picked on when she starts a new school. Then she meets a semi-awkward boy and they fall in love even though she never opens up to him about her "real" life. I swear I've read this story several times before. I loved this book! There is a lot of swearing, but it goes along with the subplot of Eleanor being bullied. All of the characters are really developed, even the very minor ones, which is so fun. I loved how she described Park's parents. The author really captures being a teenager in love, and I actually loved what she did with the ending, which was unexpected. Love love love!

Ugh. How could it just end like that?? I feel so lost now.. No closure whatsoever. This was such a sweet book. The writing was superb. I will definitely read more by this author. I just wish there was a more detailed ending. Or at least an epilogue.
Couldn't put it down.
