I met J.R. Ward at the Romantic Times convention a few years back....just love her....she is one sassy lady.

@ Betty....the least expensive way to get all the Outlander audiobooks would be to purchase an MP3 player and download them from a library. They never expire.

Is she in all the ER episodes? I don't want to have to watch all 84 discs....lol.

I always pictured Claire's hair as spiral curly....there are so many references to it's being totally unruly how could it not be?

She definitely has the curly hair but it needs to be darker for the movie. Haven't seen her act but I'll try to find something on Netflix.

You are....I think a lot of the YA that is being produced right now is better than the "adult" lit. It has to be, to hold the kids' attention.
Leea wrote: "As far as I know, the Hunger Games movie just covers the first book."Good, then I've got some time to read the others.

Does anyone know if the movie goes beyond the first book in the series? If so, I'd like to read the other books before I see the movie.

I also have Beautiful Disaster...my son's girlfriend recommended it but I haven't gotten around to that one either.

You know I have all the books and have never read them. I even met J.R. Ward at the RT convention a couple of years ago. You girls may shame me into digging them out.

I have the book but I'll be darned if I know where it is. Maybe I'll have some time this weekend to dig through my boxes and find it so I can join you.

that looks like so much fun!

I'm reading
"Leea, I have that one coming to me. I hope it's a good one.

Do you all have lousy public libraries? I can get most anything I want either via CD from the library or download from the Phoenix Digital Library.
Donna wrote: "My next read will be STATE OF WONDER has anyone read or listened to it?"I've read it. I thought Patchett did an excellent job with it. It's one of her better ones and it has a fascinating premise.

I thought that was the case...1 book....but when I found this subtitled at the library I started to think I was mistaken. Good to know I haven't completely lost my mind. To tell you the truth I didn't even know it was the Arthurian legend retold from the women's point of view until I started it. A friend had recommended it to me, the same friend who recommended Outlander and since I was drained from reading The Bronze Horseman series, I decided audio (and the marvelous Davina) would be the ticket. I seem to get a lot of reading accomplished in the car these days. I'm just at the part where Morgaine is lamenting the fact that her mother's obsessive love affair with Uther Pendragon is making her feel cast aside and making her resent her little brother Arthur. I rather enjoyed that little shift in perspective and anxious to see how it continues to unfold.

I've started
Delirium twice now. Maybe I need a break after racing through the Bronze Horseman trilogy. That took a lot out of me!
